Overview

Wildflower Bungalow is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin in the exclusive Blue Lake Springs community of Arnold, CA. Nestled in the pines of the Stanislaus National Forest with all of the amenities you desire, this is truly a place for adventure and relaxation.

Choose your own adventure during your stay at the Wildflower Bungalow. Located in the Blue Lake Springs community of Arnold, CA, our cabin is a nature lover's paradise. Sip your morning coffee on the porch or deck and you'll likely be greeted by deer, squirrels, blue jays and the occasional jack rabbit.

This 1232 sq. ft cabin can accommodate up to 8 guests. The primary bedroom boasts a brand new King bed while the second bedroom/loft provides a private sleeping area with two Queen beds. The sitting area in the loft also has a full-size sofa bed and an additional sleeping space can be found in the living room with a twin-size pull-out ottoman. There is a bathroom on each level and all linens are new and provided for your convenience. Complimentary toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion) are also included.

Our kitchen is fully-equipped with everything you need to whip up a family meal. Brand new ceramic pots and pans, microwave, electric stove and oven, coffee maker & french press, coffee grinder, blender, rice cooker, electric kettle, spices, etc. Guests are also welcome to use any staple items we may have on hand during your stay such as pancake mix, rice, cereal, oatmeal. (Please note that these staples cannot be guaranteed but there is a grocery store less than 10 minutes away.)

Should you wish to enjoy the beautiful evening and cook your meals outside, our inviting deck has a charcoal bbq, a propane grill and an outdoor stove. As the mountain breeze rolls in, there is a gas patio heater to keep you warm. Outdoor furniture and cooking appliances will be put away for the Winter season, approximately November - April.

The Wildflower Bungalow has a brand new heating and air conditioning system for your comfort. There is also a wood-burning fireplace in the living room that you can cozy up next to while watching a movie or sports game on the 75" smart tv. YouTube TV and Netflix are provided and you're welcome to log in to other tv services that you may subscribe to. There is also a 42" smart tv in the loft if the kids want to watch a movie of their own. If you're feeling competitive, challenge your family members to a board game. We have a variety of games and puzzles available for your use.

Driving in and around the area is quite easy with abundant parking. Our driveway is long and can accommodate up to 3 vehicles. Snow can be expected in the winter season so road closures and chain requirements do occur. Always check road conditions before your travel.

We feel so fortunate to raise our children a stones throw from the Sierra Nevada mountains because there is a multitude of activities for every season. From skiing in the Winter to lounging on lakes in the Summer, the opportunities for memory-making are endless.

HOUSE RULES

*AGE REQUIREMENT - Sierra Stays requires a minimum age of 21 or older to reserve our homes. We require a verified phone number and government-issued ID on the profile of the guest who is booking. This property is a licensed and registered short term rental, regulated by Calaveras County municipal codes.

*OCCUPANCY - The maximum number of guests is limited to 8 persons. Failure to comply may result in a fine of up to $200 per additional person, per night

*CHECK-IN / CHECKOUT - Guests can check-in at their leisure after 4 p.m. PST and checkout is at 11 a.m. PST. Our housekeeper will need time to prepare the cabin for the next guest, sometimes arriving later that day, so please be sure to checkout on time. Please be sure to follow our detailed checkout instructions in the house manual to avoid any additional fees.

*SMOKING - Smoking (cigarettes or otherwise) of any kind in or on the property is strictly prohibited. Our cabin is located in a "Very High" fire hazard zone and we take fire safety seriously. Violation of this rule will result in a $500 fine and immediate termination of your reservation.

*PROPERTY CHECK / HOME QUALITY - You are financially responsible for any damages to our home during your stay. Sierra Stays properties are inspected prior to your arrival, however, if there is anything that you notice or feel that we should be aware of, please contact us within 1 hour of your arrival so we can assist you. Please check upon arrival that the cabin has working heat, power and hot water due to changing mountain climates and conditions. Sierra Stays does NOT offer refunds due to any circumstances outside of our control including but not limited to: weather, road conditions, air quality, acts of nature, mechanical or electrical failure or malfunctions with TV's or other equipment, or the sighting of insects, bugs, or rodents.

*PETS - Up to two, well-behaved dogs are allowed at the Wildflower Bungalow. We ask that dogs are not allowed on any furniture, including beds. A $75 pet fee will be required to ensure the cleanliness of the cabin before the next guests arrive. Dogs should not be left unattended during your stay and any damage to the property from your pet will result in additional fees.

*AMENITIES - The property amenities and offerings are listed to the best of our current and active knowledge. Due to the nature of being a short term rental, we cannot guarantee that everything pictured or stated will be available during your stay. We kindly ask that if you use any of the provided amenities, you put them back where you found them before checking out to ensure that the next guests can enjoy.

*INTERNET - Sierra Stays does NOT offer a Warranty for Internet use during your stay. This amenity and related equipment is offered to the guest “as-is” without warranty or guarantee of any kind.

You agree that you will not: 
– give out wireless internet password outside of your rental party; 
– reset, erase or modify the router password; 
– transmit any material that is unlawful; 
– transmit any material that infringes copyright or other proprietary rights of any party;
– use the internet for excessively high volume data transfers. Internet use will terminate immediately if you fail to comply with any of its terms or conditions.

*NEIGHBORHOOD TRANQUILITY - The Blue Lake Springs community has quiet hours from 10pm - 7am.

*WINTER - Wildflower Bungalow is located just above 4000 feet and it snows in the Winter! Please come prepared with 4WD/AWD and/or snow chains and check road conditions for the latest updates. We have a snow removal service to clear the driveway during the winter months. Please do not park on the street, as road plows cannot get through and a fine may be imposed. We highly recommend having a 4WD and/or snow chains when accessing the driveway as it is on a bit of an incline. We have ice melt and snow shovels on-site and available for guest use.

*Violations of the above Guest House Rules/Code of Conduct by yourself or anyone in your party may result in the immediate eviction of your group without refund of rent and the addition of possible fines to the reservation holder.

Cancellation Policy

Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 30 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.

Notes

- Cell phone reception is spotty and only Xfinity Mobile or Verizon customers will likely have LTE. Please make sure to print out instructions prior to arrival in case you are unable to access cell phone coverage. Once you reach the cabin, high-speed wi-fi is available.

- Wildlife abounds at the Bungalow, including bears, coyotes and mountain lions. We have a bear box available for your trash but please make sure there are no food remnants in your vehicle. Bear horns are also provided for use during your stay. We will not be held responsible for any wildlife encounters.

- Power outages can occur without notice, most commonly in the Summer and Winter months, due to extreme weather. No refunds will be made for circumstances beyond our control such as acts of nature, or weather related problems, but depending on the circumstances, we will work with you to find a suitable solution. Flashlights and lanterns are readily available on the property.

- Chains should be carried in vehicles during snowy season.

- Up to two, well-behaved dogs are allowed for an additional cleaning fee of $100 to ensure the cabin is adequately cleaned after your stay. A dog bed and food bowls are provided. We kindly ask that dogs not be allowed on the furniture or left unattended at any time during your stay. Failure to comply may result in additional fees.

-We are on a septic system so only toilet paper and waste should be flushed down the toilets. Please empty food waste in to garbage cans instead of down the sink.
