I stayed at 1500 Main for six nights and it was wonderful. The space is decorated with such charm. I loved Ginger's mother's artwork and the bed & breakfast touch of treats provided. The manual, which gives the interesting history of the place, couldn't be clearer in answering any question you might have. The TV in the front room is huge and fantastic, offering so many premium cable stations. I loved it. I slept so deeply in that big cozy bed upstairs. The shower pressure was great and I didn't have to duck to rinse my hair. They have cozy towels there for you and I didn't notice until the last day they also have several luxurious robes in the closet. I found the garden magical. It felt like I was embraced when I first entered the backyard. At night, Ginger and Jim have a couple-three Italian lights strung up in the back giving an even more magical feel to the garden. I also dug the motion-activated lights that went on at night when I walked along the side of the house. It made me feel so safe. I can't wait to come back and stay again. Highly recommended.

We had an outstanding stay for our son's Navy graduation! This is a beautifully decorated home in an upscale neighborhood only 25 min south of Great Lakes. The home and big yard and driveway feels inviting. The kitchen was well stocked. We used the griddle top more than once. There were tons of towels and linens available. The beds were comfortable and the king bedroom is extra roomy. The living room futon had 2 roll-up pads available in the closet. I used a fan in that closet as well. We enjoyed the UNO cards at the table that seats 6! There was a grocery store less than 5 min away and quick access to interstate. Just a few notes. We're pretty sure BR#3 has a full size bed, not a queen. We also declined to use the outside grill because of the condition. The one full bath is narrow, but well stocked with a roomy shower! We really lucked out finding this amazing place last minute. The host is top-notch. You will love staying here. Thank you!!! A+ for great memories and family time.

we stayed here for four nights and we absolutely loved it! It was very clean everything was orderly there was activities for the kids to do and the home also the backyard was nice and big. close enough to restaurants and also grocery stores very quiet neighborhood and safe. Will definitely be looking for this listing again to book when we come to Rockford again.

We loved our stay at this exquisite & perfectly curated home. Perfect location, within walking distance to the school, supermkts & public transportation. We were definitely blown away & mesmerized as we walked into each area and room in the home. We even took notes for our own future home decorations. The artwork is representative of Black history, which goes perfectly with the home’s location of South Chicago. While at the same time, walking through the home takes you on an int’l trip. It has a very homey feel; the Teens loved it, especially playing Michael Jackson from the fridge while we all took in the decor. The feedback that we would give is to please provide add’l blankets for the bedding & to please run the gas heater a day before to avoid the weird smell that may come out of it, if it has not been turned on for a while. Elisabeth & Juaquan were very attentive and Juaquan came right over when we informed him of the funny smell. We will definitely stay again, LONGER. Thank you!?

This was truly one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had! The rental was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity you could possibly need. It felt like a perfect blend of luxury and comfort — even better than the photos! The host was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and made sure everything was just right from check-in to check-out. The location was also ideal — quiet, safe, and close to everything we needed. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a top-tier Airbnb experience. We loved this home. I am a travel agent and have stayed in many 5 star properties This town they don’t have hotels. I will hopefully stay here again next time we come to Murphy. I have already recommended it. It turned out my sons friend grew up in this home so it was a lot of fun remembering. They had everything you needed things you didn’t think you needed.

We’ve stayed in the Galena area many times over the years, but being able to stay in this spacious and beautifully decorated home with our daughters and their families made for one of our best experiences in the area. Beth was friendly and informative, answering any questions we had before and during our stay in a timely manner and letting us know about events and attractions she thought we might be interested in. The house was in the perfect location: set back a bit from a quiet street and surrounded by nature but still within ten minutes of town, the Eagle Ridge Club House, and many other activities, including a great playground. Updated and tastefully decorated throughout, the house had games and activities for all ages as well as a well-supplied kitchen that had everything we needed as well as some fun things that we didn’t get the chance to try out, like the popcorn maker and shaved ice machine. With two one-year-old granddaughters, we appreciated that the house was equipped for young children, with a stroller, booster seat, toddler-friendly kitchen utensils, books, and toys all provided. There were lots of spaces for our family of six adults and two toddlers to hang out together, but we especially loved the screened-in porch at all times of the day, and we used the gas campfire more than once in our three-night stay. We highly recommend staying in this house and hope that we have another opportunity to come back here.

After some major hiccups from Airbnb, Kim and Abbigail were determined to put our predicament to bed and offered solutions to a booking info issue with Airbnb. Long story short, we were able to book 2 nights though them and we’re absolutely stunned by the remoteness and close proximity to BloNo proper. The grounds of the property were well kept and the interior design was totally cool. Comforts, games, hot tub, room for doggies to stretch their legs, and many other amenities really impressed and charmed us when we were starting to believe Airbnb had ruined the stay (they would have had Kim and Abigail not saved us). Lastly, we will surely return whenever stopping in BloNo and take further advantage of this great spot. There is also a fantastic outside area which we look forward to trying out further on cooler evenings. Don’t hesitate to book here and bypass the booking agencies- you won’t need them.
