Tennessee vacation rentals

(Input from owner via copied email review from Dennis) Good afternoon Paul. Got back from Charlotte yesterday and appreciate the call. Top drawer and exceptional cleanliness at your cabin. Cannot say how nice our stay and trip was to enjoy the family wedding and proximity to the venue where held, at Chestnut Farm. Had gathering at The Appalachian which was nice and good food for everyone to enjoy! Would like to mention that Houfy has not corrected the prior issues we encountered and was a bit frustrating. All correspondence received was by you personally and was grateful for that. Otherwise, you would have heard from me direct as any of the links they sent were unable to open and the same old “not authorized to enter site” from screen shot I sent earlier. I will definitely not be using them in the future and would encourage others to do the same for they have not reached out to me to try and absolve the issues as of today. The route of I-40 North from just outside Asheville is a huge mess due to construction and we redirected ourselves around through some of it, but many in our wedding party from Georgia and Florida were hammered by hour and half delays in stop and go traffic on Thursday & Friday. We made our way back from your cabin via Gatlinburg and Maggie Valley which added another thirty minutes return but escaped the parking lot traffic South on I-40 that we witnessed on the way up! May want to advise future guest in that regard. Would have enjoyed one of your former C-130’s or C-141’s to drop me in with a tandem jump……. beautiful weather and scenery! I can not say enough positive things about this cabin and the owners! First, the booking process was a breeze and the cabin was better than described. Second, the owners were so wonderful to work with. It is obvious that they really have pride of ownership. They not only take great care of their cabin, but they really work hard to make sure your stay there is perfect. The beds were very comfortable for everyone. We maxed out the occupancy with 4 adults and 4 kids for most of the 5 day stay. There was plenty of room for everyone and plenty to keep us occupied. It really felt like home at this cabin. We were able to cook wonderful meals in the fully equipped kitchen and relax in the evenings in the hot tub and by playing a little pool. There is wi-fi and on demand cable there as well. Although we were looking for an 'unplugged' sort of vacation, it was really nice to be able to check in on work and keep the kids occupied at times with the convenience of their favorite cartoons! The only issue we had was the hot tub cover breaking. However, it was not a problem at all because the owners were very apologetic and offered to take care of it ASAP. It did not hinder the vacation or use of the hot tub AT ALL and it was so nice (again) to have an owner who cared so much about our vacation and our comfort while staying at their cabin. The location of this cabin was also great! We felt like we were a very short drive from anything we needed or wanted to see, however, when we were in the cabin we couldnt see anything, except mountains, trees and nature. We will ABSOLUTELY be back!!!!

As a first time VRBO renter, I was a little nervous about the process. All my fears were put to rest with the owners of this cabin. They were really wonderful to do business with. We arrived at the cabin later than expected, and the owners called to check on us to make sure everything was alright. The gps took us right to it, and the driveway itself is a little steep, but the parking area was large and level, and you are rewarded with a spectacular view! The cabin was very clean, and larger than the pictures showed. We planned most of our meals at the cabin, and I was happy to see everything I was going to need in the cabinets in the kitchen. The hot water worked great (a pet peeve of mine) and the water pressure was pretty good in the showers. The beds were firm but comfortable, and we all slept great. The owners provided extra blankets/pillows in both bedrooms in case we needed them. There were plenty of towels in the bathrooms, also. There were a few other cabins close by, but you couldn't see them because of the woods between us, and it was very private. The hot tub was nice and hot waiting on us when we arrived, which was such a nice surprise! We traveled with our 2 children, one of whom is still very small and we set up her pack-n-play in our bedroom with plenty of room. We did have an issue with the dryer while we were there, but the owner was quick to find a solution to make sure we were taken care of. The cabin is in a really convenient location, being just a few minutes from Sevierville and Pigeon Forge, and an easy 20 minutes or so from Gatlinburg. Being a VRBO newbie, I asked a ton of questions, and I was always answered in a very polite, timely manner. They really made the stay at the cabin very pleasant! We enjoyed it so much, I asked the owners what other properties they had in case we brought more people with us next time! Like I said, a wonderful experience and I don't think you can go wrong with this property! We will definitely be back!

My sister and I brought our mom down to Nashville for her 60th birthday. This house was the perfect location and had all of the amenities we needed. If you have a car, it's a great spot to just jump on the road to places like Loveless Cafe, the Opry, Belle Meade, Bluebird Cafe. It's also only a 10 minute Uber ride to downtown if you shouldn't be driving. ;) Property was clean and comfortable. We loved hanging out on the porch in our downtime. Robert was very good about answering questions and responding promptly. I would highly recommend!

If you’re looking for a cabin in the Great Smokey Mountains area your search has ended. Make the trek up to the top of the hill to the Misty Mountain Hop. Where when you open the door to the cabin you’ll be met with a fresh clean smelling cabin, step inside and you’ll immediately be greeted with a remarkable view of the mountains. The place has large comfortable beds, an awesome porch, comfy sofas, a gas grill, and kitchen equipped to cook some tasty meals. There is an easy hiking trail just outside the front door. It’s also centrally located to all the mountain activities. I’d recommend the zip line outfit Climb Works for an exciting time. We had the opportunity to speak with Luke on the phone to help us trouble shoot an issue with the TV. He was very responsive and the ladies in my party loved his voice. This was the second stop on my Tennessee trip and the quiet and solitude was welcome relief from the crowds in Nashville. And since this place has a lyrical name let me leave you with a couple of verses. So let me move over and let Jimi take over … Well, she's walking through the clouds, With a circus mind that's running wild, Butterflies and Zebras, And Moonbeams and fairy tales. I'm late writing this review, but better late then never is what I always say lol. The stay was wonderful! It is an absolute BEAUTIFUL place, has a very "Homey" feel to it. We stayed Feb23-25th, for our annual weekend get-away, and am so Glad we found this lil gem. The mountain views are WONDERFUL. It is close to Ober Ski Resort, we watched ppl going down on the tubes from our balcony. One thing to be aware of, where u are so high up, that at nites the wind can get strong, real strong, I told my husband I wonder if it was like that in the Summer or just winter. One thing did not work during our stay, the VCR in the bedroom did not work, no big deal but kinda a bummer when ur 4 yr old granddaughter has discovered the VHS Disney movies that they have there for u lol, but like I said no big deal. The only issue we had, which turned out to be my mistake, was when we arrived I couldn't get ahold of the owner to get the code to unlock the door and get inside. The front desk n I both called and no luck. I told her that I would check my inbox again and make sure they hadnt sent it, I looked only to see that they had actually sent all that info like a week ahead before I got there. I felt so dumb n embarrassed as to the experience with previous owners while going on vacation they never would send that info until the day I arrived, never would have guessed this one was sent a week early. Like I said, it wasnt the owners fault that I didnt look and pay attention to my messages in my inbox. The owner called me that night making sure I got in, I explained what happened and I apologized for my stupid mistake. He said that from then on that he would update his info to have his cell number n not just his house number since he was out that nite, he apologized to me, but like I said it was my fault for not paying attention to the previous messages. Our stay was wonderful, rental was very nice and very clean. We will def come back next year!

Breathtaking sunsets are only the beginning at Our Spectacular View! My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary here and had a wonderful time. The view is truly spectacular and the nightly fireworks show was a dazzling bonus! We hiked around the Smokeys, sampled moonshine at The Island, relaxed and enjoyed the choice of games in the loft at Our Spectacular View. This two story cabin is spacious and does not lack for amenities! The first level has a kitchen, dining area, common room, bedroom, and deck! The common room extends up to the loft and there are windows everywhere! Each window looks out on the dazzling surroundings. The second floor (loft) has a sleeping area, gaming area, as well as a deck! Its bathroom features a Jacuzzi tub and the deck has a good sized hot tub! The gaming area includes a full size pool table, a foosball table, and a two player tabletop arcade system. As if that's not enough, all of the televisions in the cabin have complete access to all premium networks plus Netflix and digital music channels! During our sojourn, we did a bunch of hiking in the park. Being from Florida, our legs were a bit strained from the ups and downs of the stunning Great Smokey Mountains National Park. It was incredibly relaxing to come back to the cabin and soak away the aches in the hot tub! And the cabin is so incredibly close to Dollywood! You can see the roller coasters from the decks and can even see the Ferris Wheel from "The Island". We spent our first night relaxing in the hot tub and watching the fireworks from Dollywood! Let me tell you, relaxation does not get much better than that!!! We could not say enough good things about "Our Spectacular View". The cabin is warm and welcoming, the decks and hot tub are inviting, and the plethora of windows showcase the beautiful surroundings! We are already planning our return trip!

If you are considering a trip to the Nashville area and looking for a place to stay, look no further! This place was amazing and the property hosts, Stacy and Rob, were incredible. They were very friendly and accommodating. If you've read about their place and are concerned about them living upstairs, I want to put your fears to rest. They went out of their way to make sure we had a great time, without being in the way, and certainly didn't bother us in any way. It's evident to my wife and I that they take great pride in their rental and in their care for their guests. About the place: We loved the fact that it was not too close to downtown, and situated in a beautiful community, which we enjoyed walking every day. It will take about 35 minutes to drive downtown, but I promise you won't be disappointed with the location of this place. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck overlooking the lake, and I don't think pictures do it justice. Absolutely beautiful! The hot tub was perfectly located inside the screened in patio. The living space was perfect for my wife and I, and again, the hosts didn't miss any details. We brought our own Keurig coffee supplies since we like to brew our own ground coffee. To our surprise they had that covered, with the single use cup and filters for your own coffee. Guess we could've left ours at home. Honestly, there wasn't much that we needed to bring. They covered all the bases. I could go on and on, but will stop for now. It was a perfect way to celebrate our anniversary week, and hope to do it again in the future!
