If you visit Copenhagen you'll have basically two choices, either stay in an expensive, noisy and very small apartment in the city center or choose one in one of the Copenhagen suburbs. Dorte's apartment is really well located, midway between the city center and the airport. The bus line 5C stops close to the building (20 min rides from the airport, and 20 min to the city center). Within a 10 minutes walk, there is also the M2 metro line. So location is not a problem. There is a book in the living room about the Danish "Hygge". As mentioned by the author in the introduction, "spelling and pronouncing it is the easy part, but explaining what is it, that's the tricky part". Part of the "hygge" is about an atmosphere and a cozy indoor, like the furniture and lights that Dorte has specifically chosen, with taste, for her apartment. Wi-Fi is great as well as the smart TVs in the living room, kitchen and bedroom. N.B. for the next guests: if you want to use Netflix on the living room TV, do not use the Apple TV but the built-in Android system instead. The bed is comfortable. The shower is small but great (hot water and good water pressure). Perfect after a long day of walk visiting Copenhagen streets. Communication with Dorte was good (fast replies before and during the stay). However, some things could be improved for the next guests (which did not have a “big” impact during my stay): - lack of kitchen linen, kitchen roll, and tissues - lack of hand towels in the bathroom - cigarette smell in the upstairs (I'm very sensitive to that, maybe it's coming from the neighbors like another guest's comment suggested?) - the trash bag in the kitchen was not empty when I checked in, maybe the cleaning company or Dorte had forgotten to change it? - didn’t find the washing powder/liquid for the washing machine Despite the above, it was really pleasant to stay in her apartment for a few days. I would definitely recommend it and would love to come again for my next visit.
