Utah vacation rentals

This location afforded us the perfect blend for both our travel intentions. We came to Utah to meet our 3rd grandchild, born in early May to our son's family; residents of Sandy. We traveled with our two grown daughters, so were also hoping to enjoy a little vacation time with them partaking in the activities that the mountains offered. Since this location was basically at the foot of the mountains we were efficiently able to "take'off" during down times (nap times, etc..) quickly hopping on one of the many mountain trails. We were also able to get downtown SLC, pretty easily, enjoying the children's museum with the little ones. The condo itself was fabulous, it gave us all the space that we needed as well as offering a home away from home vibe. The stocked kitchen left us wanting for nothing; including staples we use at home almost everyday: coffee maker, toaster, blender and crock pot. The grocery stores were super convenient. We even celebrated our granddaughter's 3rd birthday at the condo; baking and decorating a cake and having steaks on the grill. The condo was clean and offered a lot of little extras that you don't think about until you need them; ours were scissors and extra toothpaste. There was even a "junk drawer" full of little odds and ends items. We could not have been more pleased with this place! In addition, there is a hot tub right outside the slider. Again, super clean and easy to use. It was awesome being able to relax in it at the end of the day. Also, it's worth mentioning, there are instruction labels on almost everything. We never had to guess or feel uncomfortable about not knowing how to use/operate anything. We will definitely check the availability here first when planning our next visit.

My sisters and I stayed at this condo while visiting family in Salt Lake City. The location is perfect! If you are a skier, you are minutes from all the major ski resorts. We found that it was easier to get to downtown Salt Lake City from this condo than from areas that are really closer geographically, simply because the condo has easy access to major highways. There is a grocery store right around the corner and the Porcupine Grill is within walking distance. The food there is fabulous and the chicken noodle soup is probably the best on the planet. The condo itself is spacious, very clean, and well organized. I have stayed in many rental units all over the country and this one is by far the best! If you are a football fan, the big screen TV makes you feel like you are at the game. The fireplace makes the whole place cozy and homey. The kitchen is not only well equipped, it is organized! It is a pleasure to cook there. Best of all, the condo is very quiet. The patio is private and the jacuzzi is large. I think what I appreciated the most is that Jennifer had little signs all over the place with instructions on how to turn on the TV, how to use the remote for the fireplace, how to set the heat, lots of pamphlets and information for skiers. I have stayed in many places where I could not figure out how to even turn on the television, let alone use the jacuzzi. Everything was simple and easy. Jennifer had Christmas decorations up when we arrived which added to the ambiance. The entire condo is decorated nicely with homey little accents. Even the dishes were fun! There are plenty of places to get away from everyone else if that is what you need after a long day, or the big couches in the lovely living room will allow everyone to get together and visit. I have already recommended this condo to others and would definitely stay here again myself.

We have taken several ski trips and this was by far our best trip! From the reservation process, to the fantastic rental, location to the 4 resorts and the Cotton Heights Area...there are absolutely no words for how great our 8 days in Utah were. The property is only 30 minutes from the SLC airport and 20-30 minutes to 4 amazing resorts. We rented our equipment at the Lift House a short 2 minute drive from the property...they were also great! We rented for 8 days but they only charged us for the number of days were were going to ski...so we would not have to return and recheck out our equipment. We also had a ski boot issue a few days into the trip and they quickly remedied the problem and we were on our way! We are a family of 5 (4 adults and one teenager). The property was the perfect size for us. Great hot tub on the deck, covered garage area to dry our equipment and park the car, washer and dryer, fireplace and a stocked kitchen to cook (we cooked all of our meals there but one). I can't say enough about the cleanliness of the rental. We felt very comfortable and at home. You are very close to the local grocery store...just a quick 5 minute drive. So if you like to prepare your own meals it was super easy to pick up what you need. Our recommendations...rent a car! We were able to drive easily to all the resorts and the covered garage made it easy to park and leave our items without having to carry them inside everyday. We have always taken the ski buses, but we really feel the rental car made the trip more logistically friendly. We also made an evening trip into SLC downtown area and ate at Red Rock Brewing Company a very cool place. We bought the Super Pass through Jennifer and her team....HIGHLY recommend that! No waiting in lines for lift tickets...we got out of the car and went straight to the lifts! Jennifer was very responsive to our questions and gave great recommendations! We will be back next Holiday! 5 Stars PLUS!

Dane was great, easy to get in touch with and Informative. Gave us privacy and everything was explained well in the guest book. Only complaint really was the wildfire smoke which is obviously not his fault. We just wished we could see the view better. The home was comfortable and clean minus a few stray toys outside probably from previous guests. The hot tub was nice and we saw wild turkeys wander by! Would be nice to go back in the fall and use the firepit when there are no fire bans and see the changing seasons. Even stocked the kitchen with baking basics if you felt like baking something. Minus a stand mixer 😉had a hand mixer though, nice appliances was a pretty spot for my sister to renuenher vows right on the deck. The huge umbrella was nice and patio furniture comfy. Could maybe use a TV in the upstairs open space. Not a biggy there are some in the bedrooms and a big one in the basement. The dining table is big with a great view. This place is more than you could imagine! Incredibly great use of space. There is open shelving and drawers to store things so it doesn’t need to feel small. The kitchen looks cramped but is better equipped than any Airbnb I’ve stayed in. The oven fits anything you’d want and evenly cooks! There is a two burner stove, sharp knives, a suite of pots, gadgets and utensils, all neatly packed in a small package. The grill gets super hot and the patio is an awesome space to hang out. Hot tub was very clean and well kept and was the perfect addition for our December stay. Every detail was thought of. And documented it! They provided a guide book such that you need to do no research before coming, they can fill all the time you have with adventures of all sorts! There isn’t necessarily inside seating, but you can fit a chair inside if you need. Blanding’s internet isn’t anything to video home about, but that’s not why you’re coming here are you!?

The place had a great set up. It’s very conducive to hanging out while someone is cooking and the tv is on. It was a nice place to come back to after a bunch of hikes. It was very homey. The kitchen had every thing we needed. The house was very well stocked. Plenty of close parking. Very convenient to go to the local parks. Quick drive to groceries, gas, coffee, etc. The beds were comfortable. The downfall is that at checkout you’re required to do laundry for linens you used. This made our alarms even earlier for check out day as we wanted to catch the sunrise at Arches. We wondered what the $95 cleaning fee was for since we had to do laundry and wash dishes. I would have expected not to do some of that work or have a lower cleaning fee.

Our guest group was 5 adults over 55. Excellent host interaction - very responsive, pleasant, etc. Location - excellent. House appointments, supplies, cleanliness, layout, etc - excellent. Very nice outside fire pit with sunrise/moonrise views. Very nice washer/dryer. Wi-Fi worked well. Significant issue with septic system. I didn't inspect the drain field, but I suspect it was damp and not operating properly. We has NO interior issues (e.g., NO problems like toilet failing to flush, sink not draining, etc). However, the septic field had a strong oder, such that it was not pleasant to open the windows on the side of the house facing the septic field. This oder itself was not a huge issue for us, as we visited in November when the temps were cool and we could keep the windows closed. However, in warmer weather it would be a major problem. I'm not sure I would feel comfortable with young children running around outside unless there were close adult supervision. The weather was dry during our visit. I do not at all regret staying at this location. We had a great time hiking Bears Ears (before our fearless leader destroys it), and I was happy to pay the rental fee. However, we were gone from the house from fairly early AM until at least dark. If I had small children, a lager party with teenagers who took long showers, and/or were planning to spend a lot of time hanging out in & around the house particularly in warm weather, I would have signifiant concerns with the septic scene.

This cabin is wonderful! My partner and I stayed in here in mid-October while touring the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park. It's quiet and remote-feeling, though not too far at all from the grandeur of the surrounding sights. Tasteful decor, spacious, and with new kitchen amenities including a gas range and a great coffeemaker. The cabin feels new all around, with beautiful woodwork including rustic wooden doors and a marvelous, slanted-ceiling loft that kids would just love (we were nearly tempted to sleep up there ourselves!). The beds were comfortable and the shower was efficient. There's also excellent wifi, a big TV, and a Bluetooth-capable sound system that is very easy to use. Outside, the deck is beautiful and faces the morning sun--we enjoyed a few cups of coffee in the big, comfy chairs there, basking in the warmth and watching bluebirds flutter around. There's also a great grill and a very nice firepit outside, complete with marshmallow-roasting skewers. A sweet, jovial property dog named Inja befriended us in the yard. He may have been the favorite part of our stay! The property host met us as we pulled into the cabin, which was perfectly easy to find with the provided directions, and he was very friendly and accommodating whenever we bumped into him throughout our stay. Overall, we have zero complaints about this place, found it far outdid our expectations, and would love to return in the future. Maybe the best package we've experienced yet on Airbnb.
