Great Family Beach Destination
My wife, 7 year-old son and I spent a few days here and had a great visit. The house is nicely renovated and kept extremely clean. My wife usually ends up wiping down everything when we check into a hotel or rent a property (I know... neat freak!) - but didn't feel the need to do any of that here. We loved that you can park your car and then forget about it - the beach is a 5-10 min walk and there are lots of good restaurant choices in Ocean Grove or Asbury Park that are also 5-10 min walks. We were able to use beach badges, chairs, umbrella and a cart from the house which made beach visits even nicer and easier. A few words about the hosts, Ken and Julie. They were extremely professional and helpful. The day before we arrived, they reached out to let us know that there was a problem with the house (previous tenant broke something) and let us know how they were going to get it fixed, and offered us an alternative if the problem wasn't fixed. I especially appreciate that they were proactive about the problem and didn't make it a surprise when we arrived.

We had a comfortable stay at this well-kept, clean chalet. We felt right at home like visiting a family members home. Everything needed was right there available from fresh towels, pillows, blankets, appliances, foil, paper plates, dishes, cold water bottles, soap or extra products you may have forgotten too: shampoos to condiments. I wouldn't personally use open products but nice to have if you needed them. We enjoyed relaxing on the scenic porch with a view of the beautiful lake listening to cicadas, the fun paddle boat to see some wildlife up close & had a nice fire in the fire pit too. To note the firepit is a shared space between this home & the rented one next door too. This home is on a lake with wildlife to enjoy, but is not deep in the woods. It is set in a more neighborhood type setting with some typical noises you may hear light traffic, dogs barking, etc. Bill, is very responsive, kind & helpful too. I highly recommend this home & if in the area would stay here again.

My time spent here was absolutely positively worth every penny my partner and I spent. The home was so well kept together, everything was organized and there were instructions left everywhere, all written with such a welcoming yet informative connotation. Not once did i feel like i was unwelcome or walking on eggshells. The area itself is so relaxing, great for getaways. The host was entirely respectful of privacy and our time there, assuring us that we were respectful to the house when we made the efforts to clean up. I dont usually write such reviews with major appraisal, but truly the experience is 5 Stat worthy. My partner and i are even looking to visit again. If youre looking for a calm, small, cute and relaxing getaway, you have found it right here!

Another great stay at Anthony's home in Point Pleasant Beach!
This is our 2nd time renting Anthony's home, and it again exceeded our expectations! The house was clean, and check-in/check-out were a breeze. Anthony is an extremely responsive and friendly host, and his communication is excellent leading up to the trip, and throughout the trip! The house itself is roomy, extremely well-stocked with all amenities a family/group would need, comes with plenty of beach badges and parking passes, along with some awesome beach chairs and an umbrella. The location of the home cannot be beat. There's a private pathway to the beach (with keys to open the gate included), and only a 2 minute walk, which makes it easy to hang out on the beach, and head back to the house for lunch/break/etc., and back on the beach in minutes. It is also within 2 blocks of an awesome donut shop, a bagel deli, a great juice/coffee shop, and a great homemade ice cream store. It's also right down the street from Jenkinsons. We will definitely continue to rent Anthony's home during future trips to the Jersey Shore!

As first time AirBNB users, we didn't know what to expect. Dan & Chip went above and beyond to answer all of our questions thoroughly, promptly, and thoughtfully, allowing us to feel comfortable. We picked their place to escape from reality for a short get away with our family of 4 humans + one dog - and boy, was this a terrific spot for that! The house is exactly as pictured: very clean, new, modern, and well appointed. The beds and linens are comfortable, and the bathrooms and kitchen are immaculate. We loved having an elevator to bring our stuff to each floor. While the area isn't the typical downtown-type area we'd normally stay in, it was perfect for our needs, with a CVS, coffee shop, and ice cream shop within 2 blocks of the house. We highly recommend Dan & Chip's house for a getaway. While we were a small group, it would be perfect for 2-3 families!

The difference is in the details.
The property owners greeted us as soon as we arrived. Obviously, knowing that if there would be a problem it would get dealt with immediately by the owner is a great relief when your taking the family (8 people) on vacation. As others have described, the photo's of the rental are as advertised. Every night we would sit out on the deck and watch the world go by. The two parking spots are right by the elevator as is the unit itself. All tenants were respectful, friendly and quiet. The pool was not to crowded and the grills by the pool worked great for an afternoon burger. The real bonus for us was the very nice beachcart that was provided along with anything you would need or want for the beach. The storage room by your car had Four nice chairs, toys, umbrella's and even a tent if needed. No need to drag everything from home!! Margie was always a phone call or text away throughout the rental process and our deposit was returned promptly. As much as Wildwood has remained the same since I was a young boy coming with my parents, the options for where you choose to stay have changed dramatically. Yes, the oceanfront Motels with their neon still brighten the night but if your looking for a gorgeous place (for the same money as one of those Motels) to hang you hat after a long day on the beach and boardwalk then look no further. Vacation rentals are everywhere in Wildwood! The time I have to spend with my children and family is very limited and precious for me and my wife. In my opinion, finding a property AND owner than will see to it that your vacation is just that, a vacation without worry is worth more than money spent for great memories that will last a lifetime for me and my children. See ya next year! Eric and Jill Vernon

The stay had its up and downs. The location was amazing, it is less than a 10 min drive to fast food restaurants, supermarket, coffee shop, pharmacy, and gas station. The sanctuary is clean, quiet, and pretty. However, there were a few issues within the airbnb. There were no knives for cooking, a half way used up paper towel roll with no extras for refill, no cooking oil or other spices other than salt and black pepper, and there was about 1/10 of dishwash detergent left in the bottle with no refill. My friends and I needed to go buy our own knives, cooking oil, paper towels, dish wash soap and dish scrub sponge (their's were old and dirty looking). We also had problems with the wifi because the wifi network they provided was not found. We called the number the host provided us and got in contact with the management staff. The first time we called, they said they will send someone over to the condo to help with the wifi, waited for 1 hour 30 mins and no one came. Called again, they said they will follow up and send someone but another hour or so passed again no one came. At the end, we found the router in the condo and got the wifi information for ourselves. Overall, the location of the condo is great and would definitely again airbnb an unit in this sanctuary again but would not come back to this specific unit after all the troubles we needed to go through.

We needed a place to stay in town last minute and we were so lucky that Lee's place was available. Lee was responsive and friendly and even made sure we had an iron, steamer, and pac n play set up before our arrival. We loved the house's cleanliness, luxurious bathrooms, comfortable beds, easy parking, quiet neighborhood, and house layout. During our stay, we often said that it was one of the nicest Airbnb's we'd ever stayed in. This house is also a treat for anyone that appreciates mid-century modern design and furniture. Considering we have family nearby in Jersey, I have a feeling we'll be requesting to stay at Lee's place again in the future.
