Refundable Damage Deposit
PROPERTY CONDITION/SECURITY DEPOSIT – When you arrive, please check the vacation rental for cleanliness and damage. Notify the Owner of any problems or damage as soon as it is discovered to exist or have occurred. Any damage or loss reported or found after the initial check-in will be assigned to Guest. Guest agrees to leave the vacation rental in arrival condition and acknowledges and agrees that s/he shall be solely responsible for damages.
A security deposit of $250.00 is required. This must be received on or before the final rental payment is due. The security deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within thirty (30) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met.
• No damage or loss has occurred to the home or its contents.
• No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or purchased goods/services during the stay.
• All furnishings and decorations are in same location as check in. No wires or connections were moved or otherwise interfered with.
• All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in appropriate dumpster.
• Soiled dishes, linens, and towels are cleaned and put away.
• All keys and remotes are properly left and unit is left fully locked.
• All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
• No early check-in or late checkout.
• The vacation rental does not require a more-than-standard cleaning.
• The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), the local law enforcement, or the security company employed by property management.
In the event the unit is not left in the condition it was received, a $100 minimum charge is incurred and will be taken from the security deposit. Failure to return the parking pass will result in a penalty of $200.
