Welcome to our generous, light-filled home. Just minutes from 3 ski slopes, our home offers a wide array of nearby seasonal activities; skiing, snow activities, hiking, golfing, zip lines, swimming holes, lakes, streams, 7 vineyards & more. This historical property was built in the early 1800's as School House District #6 of Tannersville. It became a home around 1854 & has grown ever since. Now families can enjoy a hot meal together at the large kitchen table/tell stories by the cozy fire pit

Check In: 4PM - Flexible

Check-in as at 4pm. Driving details: From 87 NORTH take Exit 20 SAUGERTIES. From this exit follow signs to Route 32 NORTH and then 23A WEST to ELKA PARK ROAD. The house will be on your right-hand side. Comes up pretty fast but has two driveway entrances. The GPS will also take you to the property with no gaps in service along the way. Lockbox Code: 1979 Lockbox Directions: Located on the center of the front door, the black lockbox has push buttons. The numbers must be punched into the box to both OPEN and CLOSE the lockbox. Type the numbers and depress the triangular-shaped button above the numbers in a downward motion. The box will open. Follow the same pattern to close the box. If the numbers get jumbled up, simply hit the C button (clear) to start over. IMPORTANT: When you open the lockbox, the cover of the lockbox will be blocking the place to insert the key. Do not attempt to put the key into the lower lock. Move the lockbox cover a little and you will see the place to put the key just behind it. * First and for most, please remember you are booking a property in upstate New York. That comes with many different kinds of wildlife including Whitetail deer, foxes, black bears, bobcats, coyotes etc. Please do not feed or interact with any of them. Also, no hunting is permitted on the property.
* You must be over 25 to book this property - ID required and NO third bookings allowed
*Please, there is absolutely NO smoking of any kind permitted anywhere in or around the property. We cater to families with children and want the home clean and drug free. If rule is broken, you will be charged a $300 fee.
*24/7 surveillance is recording motion and audio for the safety of the guests and home owners.
*Any tampering with the cameras, wifi, or router, you will be charged a $500 fee
*No fireworks allowed on premises.
*Please do not leave home alone with fireplace still lit.
* If you’re interested in hosting an event, please reach out for further information. There are absolutely no events or parties allowed otherwise.
*Home occupancy is 10 (including kids over 18 months) and 3 infants. Any unregistered guests, booker will be charged extra fee per guest per day.
*If you are booking your stay with your dog(s), please do not leave dog(s) unattended. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. If your dog is a service animal, please be sure they are with you at all times, no exceptions.
*Please be sure to put all infant and child related items back where they were so our next guests with little ones will be able to find things with ease.

*Dry off any and all water play toys before putting back where you found it. This is important so no mold builds up on the kids toys.

Payment Policy

As long as nothing is broken or destroyed, security deposit will be returned once home is inspected by cleaners

Cancellation Policy

Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in
