This updated, 2bd,2ba condo is in a quiet & safe coastal neighborhood giving you peace of mind, while you take a sip of your favorite drink on the patio after a fun-filled day at the beach or at the local museums.

The Location:
This location is perfect for week-long vacations, as we’ve equipped you with day-to-day linens, kitchen utensils, and a washer and dryer allowing you to wear your favorite swimsuit over and over!
*NOTE: the one thing you don’t want to forget is your toiletries and paper items. As a safety precaution, we don’t provide these items (this way no one shares & nothing is wasted between visits).

The Details:
The Sandcastle is family-friendly (we should know, we’ve tested it out) with a 2nd bedroom connected to the 2nd bathroom & furnished with twin beds and a dresser to make your kids feel right at home, allowing you to get the much needed vacation rest your pining for!

Additionally, both rooms have room darkening curtains & the master bedroom has USB chargers conveniently located on the nightstands.

*While the condo isn’t babyproof, we’ve provided a pack and play giving your baby a safe place to rest, along with a high chair. Check the entry hall closet.

Aside from the must-haves for a perfect, easy-going vacation, our condo also includes access to the neighborhood park providing convenient, kid-friendly entertainment. You will also find readily-available parking alongside the building.

BOOKING REQUIREMENTS:
Before your stay is confirmed you have 48 hours to do the following: Sign a rental agreement, including a copy of a valid ID. A security deposit is due at least 7 days prior to your stay. No door code will be provided without the security deposit received.

KEY POINTS:
Renters of the Sandcastle must be 25 years or older (our HOA agrees with the car rental companies on this one) & will be verified via ID
We’re fans of having a good time, but no parties or events are allowed at the Sandcastle.
Check-in & check-out are done virtually: your access code will be provided to you 48 hours before you arrive which is valid at 4 pm the day you arrive & expires at 10 am the day you leave. *due to strict cleaning policies we don’t offer early arrivals or late departures.

SECURITY
The property includes a Blink video camera that records audio & video at the front door. The host will utilize the camera to verify the check-in/out & guest policy is followed (maximum 4 people per HOA)

CLEANING
Please leave the Sandcastle the same as when you arrived: clean! The cleaning fee of $100 does not cover excessive cleaning or bodily fluids. Additional fees may apply if either is needed.

There is a pack and play available in the master closet along with bed rails for one twin bed. A highchair is also available with some toddler friendly place settings. There are also children's books available and some family games. There is no baby proofing in the unit.

Getting around

Parking is available in the lot outside the building. There is access to DART First State public transportation at the front of the neighborhood. You also have access to the Lewes-Georgetown Trail to bike to the beach, or north to Old World Bread and beyond. Bringing bikes? Let us know as you will need to place tags on your bikes per the HOA, to be able to store bikes on the bike racks. Bikes cannot be stored in the unit or on the patio.

Booking Requirements:
Guest must sign a rental agreement. With the return of the agreement, the guest must also provide a copy of a valid ID, and payment of the security deposit. The guest has 48 hours to provide the above items after receipt of the rental agreement, or the calendar dates will not be held.

Check in / Check out:
Check in (4pm EST) and check out (10am EST) are virtual. At least 48 hours prior to your stay, guests will receive an access code that is valid at 4pm EST the day their reservation begins, until 10am EST on the day of check out. There is a blink video camera that records audio and video at the front door. The host will use this to verify check in / check out and the number of guests. The max number of guests per the HOA is 4 people. No pets are hosted in this property. Due to strict cleaning policies, we cannot accommodate early check ins or late check outs.

Cleaning:
Please leave the property the way you found it. All dishes are to be cleaned prior to check out. There are dumpsters available in the parking lot for trash disposal during your stay. The cleaning fee is $100. This fee does not cover excessive cleaning or bodily fluids, and additional fees may apply. Do not rearrange furniture. This property is professionally cleaned by Hunt's Cleaning.

No smoking in the condo or on the patio.

No dangerous weapons are allowed on the property at any time.

Policies:
- In the event of third party amenity interruptions beyond my control such as electricity and wifi, you agree by booking that you are not entitled to, nor will you seek compensation of any kind, including partial or complete refunds for any such interruption.
- No refunds will be issued due to weather, natural disasters, travel delays, or other situations beyond our control.
- Access to our wifi is a privilege and any guest that abuses it by downloading or viewing illegal content or violating copywriting infringement laws will be reported.
- Check the condo for your items prior to check out. Guests are responsible for arranging and paying for shipping of items left behind, and after one week items will be donated.
- Guests are not to use our mailing address to receive person mail or packages without permission. Any mail received not belonging to our family will be returned to sender or thrown out.
- No third party bookings. The guest who signs the rental agreement must stay at the property.
- Minimum age to book property is 25. All guests must be 25+, except children accompanied by their parents. Booking guest must be verified with a state government issued ID.
- No tampering/disabling exterior camera.
- Any service animals are to remain with their owner at all times and never left unattended in the condo.
- Please alert the host to any damages during your stay. Accidents happen. Damages may result in repair/replacement costs.
- In the event emergency maintenance is needed, we reserve the right to access the property to complete the maintenance.

If a house rule or policy is broken, guest forfeits their security deposit and the reservation will be terminated with no refund provided. Please treat our family vacation condo as you would your own home!

Refundable Damage Deposit
The security deposit must be paid at least a week prior to check in or the access code will not be provided. This deposit will be forfeited in the event the guest breaks house rules. In the event of damage, the host will provide a detailed receipt to document any withholding of the security deposit. The deposit will be returned within one week concluding your stay.

Cancellations are honored with 100% refund (minus any processing fees), if request is received within 30 days of check-in.

Cancellations are honored with 50% refund if request is received within 14 days of check-in.

We understand things happen last minute, but holding our calendar impacts our business. The following cancellation policy is in effect for any cancellation requests within 14 days of your stay: The guest is not entitled to any refund and no refund is guaranteed.
If the host is able to re-book the days, a refund will be issued within 2 weeks of original check in. If a re-booking does not occur, no refund will be issued.
