Multnomah Village Studio, Charming Contemporary - Portland
Multnomah Village Studio, Charming Contemporary
2 Guests · 0 Bedrooms · 1 Bathroom · Vacation Home · 310 Sqft

A Brand New Studio Apartment, in my home's lower level, nestled in the quiet, green comfort of the Multnomah Village. You're in a fun, unique neighborhood, just 6 miles from downtown. Quick and easy freeway access to downtown, the coast, Columbia River Gorge, Mt Hood, and the Willamette Valley wine country.
On the home front, walk 2 blocks into the heart of the village to shop, sip and dine on local offerings. Most nights you'll find live music at GastroMania !
This studio space has been designed and decorated to be YOUR efficient and tranquil home away. The colors, tile work and design elements are integrated throughout the entire space to pull it all together. Since this is a lower level unit, you will find yourself cool and comfortable during the summer despite the lack of A/C. There is a full kitchen with all new appliances and kitchen ware. This includes a coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster and microwave. The bathroom has a generous sized shower with large rain type shower head. The central space has a breakfast bar/work space, Smart TV, clothes/storage armoire, and a top-of-the line sleeper sofa. This is an American Leather Co. "Comfort Sleeper". There are no bars or springs, just a very comfortable night's sleep! It's also easy to pull out/push in.
There is an easy access, covered patio for outside time. The patio looks into my large yard. You will have a green view, but, for now, I ask guests not to walk through the yard. The yard is under restoration and is not yet properly graded.
The entire studio and patio area are yours to enjoy. The back yard is off limits
for now. Thanks!
I enjoy meeting my guests and will welcome you when you first arrive, if possible. You will be provided with the entry code for front door keypad when your reservation is confirmed. I'm more than happy to answer any questions about the space or neighborhood, as well as for the village, city or area. I am often home and available for questions to help meet your needs.
The neighborhood is the Multnomah Village. It was, at one time, a stand-alone village, outside of Portland. This history is what gives the neighborhood it's small town feel that we love so much. It's an area of green hills, tall firs, a 97 acre park (Gabriel Park) and it's own little main street. It's both quiet and quirky.
Come experience village life! You'll find a rich array of shops, restaurants, pubs, coffee houses and tea parlors.
Our Multnomah Art Center is one of the largest local art centers in the country, offering many classes and a local artist's gallery.
The Southwest Community Center (located in Gabriel Park) has a large pool, workout room, basketball courts and many fitness and yoga classes.
There is a bus stop in the village, 3 blocks away. Bus # 44 will take you downtown.
When using the patio, you may occasionally hear my next-door neighbors behind the fence. They do have a dog, who is generally quiet, but is a good guard dog, so you may hear him bark at times.

I'm a child of the 60's and 70's, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison with my bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy. I've made Portland, Oregon my home since January 1981 and have actively loved this place ever since! I started my professional practice here and raised my family while squeezing in plenty of Oregon recreation: skiing, hiking, kayaking, beach bumming.
I traveled extensively in Europe and Turkey for 9 months in 1975. But, I have been stateside since then, busy with all of the above.
I look forward to travel in the future, when my post professional life settles into place.
As a host you'll find me welcoming and friendly and my home tidy, organized and relaxed. I've lived in my home for 25 years, dearly love my neighborhood and city and love to help others get to experience it too.
