- 1.1 mile walk to the French Quarter. $1.25 and 10 minutes from my home to the French Quarter by street car (2 blocks away). $5-10 and 5 minutes by cab to get back. Short drive or bike ride to Mid-City restaurants and shopping.
Centrally located without being in the middle of everything. Whole food is next door. Several billion dollars of new construction hospitals have gone up just blocks away. The neighborhood is mixed-income. If this is your first time in New Orleans or don't know how to handle yourself in an urban non-tourist area, maybe reconsider. However, if you know that you don't need to walk down every dark alley and know the major roads, you will have no problem. Please don't be alarmed if the neighbors are in their front yards or porches listening to music or having some drinks when you arrive. This is normal and they are harmless.
Street car is a few blocks away and will take you to the French Quarter/Downtown in one direction or City Park in the other. $1.25 per ride or $3 for all day.
Uber also very easy. $5-10 and 5 minutes to get home by cab.
City bike rentals available outside Whole Foods. You rent through a machine/credit card and can drop the bikes anywhere when finished.
We have exterior security cameras on the property. Please don't do anything outside you wouldn't want your mother to see.
Base rate is valid for up to 6 guests. Additional guests are an additional charge. Max occupancy of 8.
If you find you have less guests than your original booking, 1 price adjustment may be made prior to your arrival. Refund is 50% of additional guest fee up to 1 week prior to arrival.
25 minimum age for primary renter.
