Overview

Welcome to the Classic Kentucky Derby House in the Heart of the Highlands!

We're Bryan and Lisa and we're very excited that you're considering us!

The entire bottom floor of the duplex, with two bedrooms and separate entrances, is all yours!

You'll be one block from one of the hottest streets in Louisville, Bardstown Rd., close enough to walk to 100s of restaurants, shops and bars, and just a short drive from everything Louisville has to offer including Churchill Downs, Downtown and UofL.

Bring the luxury of modernity with you as you step back in time in the Classic Kentucky Derby House. We mixed vintage Derby with a modern farmhouse to provide a one-of-a-kind, authentically Louisville experience.

The house was built in 1910, and boasts 10-foot ceilings. It has beautiful hardwood floors, and original fireplaces and trim.

We live in the upstairs apartment so we'll be immediately on hand if you need anything.

You have the entire bottom floor to yourselves. The front porch and the backyard are shared with our apartment upstairs.

We'll be on hand to help with anything you need throughout your stay. We'll meet you for check-in, or you're welcome to do self-check in after hours, or if that is your preference.

We're a block from Bardstown Rd. on Bonnycastle Ave. The neighborhood is known for excellent restaurants, bars and shops. It is extremely walkable.

Clearance around the queen bed is about 14" on the sides. If you have limited mobility, it may be difficult to get into and out of the bed.

KENTUCKY DERBY: We require a four-night minimum stay for the Kentucky Derby the first weekend in May. Bookings for fewer than four nights will be cancelled. We are 0.7 miles from the Barnstable-Brown party house.
