The village is in a valley, so there are hills to negotiate, however, nothing is too arduous.

We also have an ice cream/drinks kiosk with shaded seating, that also serves alcohol and coffees. (Summer Opening). There is also the Hotel Rio de Turillo is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday and has a restaurant.

Only 8kms away is Pozo Alcón with many bars & restaurants - All offer a wide selection of drinks, don't forget the free tapas, and a good selection of hot and cold food.

We love travelling & good food, need to do more of the former & maybe a little less of the latter.
But life is here to be enjoyed.
Feeding & looking after people, I think, is in my DNA.
Before leaving home to join the WRAF, I grew up in pubs. All of them served food; my dad had been a chef years ago, in the army & my mum was a very good cook. In one pub, a 16th century coaching Inn, we also offered accommodation.
I spent 12 years in the armed forces, taught in colleges and university, worked for local government and a couple of charities.
Now, having moved to Spain, want to share this beautiful part of the country with travellers from all over the world.
Still trying to learn Spanish, so if this is your native language, please come and share some useful phrases.
Have a smattering of German and French :-)
