Welcome!
Birch Bear Cabin is on the banks of the Baker River and nestled in the White Mountains. This is the perfect place for everyone! Enjoy a romantic retreat, a Girl’s weekend, Fly-fishing with the guys, or bring the whole family for a relaxing stay.

How we got our name....
On our property are two stands of white birch trees.
And...if you look closely you will find the claw mark on the kitchen cabinet left by a bear looking for a snack.
That is how we came to be Birch Bear Cabin!

Plugs are all 3’ off the ground but do no have child proof guards. Cordless blinds. Clock radios have noise machine function. Hit tub is raised 3’ off the ground but not fenced. Riverfront is 50’ from the house but there is no fence. Gentle sloping access to river. Very clean and swimmable.

Parking for 4 cars.

One level living. Ramp to enter the home. Accessible shower. 36” doorways.

Minimum age limit for renters: 25

Payment Policy

For reservations of 5 nights or longer there is $1000 non refundable deposit.
Payment in full is due 30 days before check in. If full payment is not received the reservation may be rescinded.
For shorter reservations payment is due in full at time of reservation.
** In addition to payment there will be a $500 security deposit hold on your credit card 7 days before check in when key code, address and check in instructions are emailed.
Security deposit will be credited by to the guest within 36 hours of check out.

Refundable Damage Deposit

Venmo or square on houfy.

Cancellation Policy

Documented extenuating circumstances only. And If an equal or longer reservation can be made, then a full refund may be refunded or a prorated portion thereof.
