Patty’s Casitas, Amador. Our home in Panama.

Patty’s Casitas, once again, proved to be our home away from home for a two week stay in Panama this year. 
We were picked up by a driver arranged by Patty at the airport  and delivered to our condo where we were met by our hosts.

This was our fourth visit to Panama, and we stayed, once again, in their Amador Condo. This Condo is on a middle upper floor of a seven story building, located in one of the most sought after areas of Panama. The condo is a spacious 1-bedroom with a nice double sink bathroom, with large shower and great views to the Panama City bay with Casco Viejo & Down-town as a background and lots of nice vegetation surrounds the condominium. There are bicycles available to ride on the Amador Causeway. It also has a common rooftop terrace where you can enjoy the views of the Ocean and see the ships go towards the Panama Canal while you enjoy a glass of vino.
For restaurants, shopping, or sight seeing, there is easy access to the Amador causeway, the Miraflores Locks of the Panama Canal, Casco Viejo, downtown Panama City by Taxicab or Uber. The ferries to the Pearl Islands in the Pacific are also located near-by. This allows the vacationer to take the choice that best fits their needs and wants. 
But, we returned again this year to see the New, Bigger, Wider Agua Clara Locks of the Panama Canal. The husband and wife team of Patty’s Casitas and Rudy’s tours positioned us perfectly for a grand view of this “Man Made Wonder.” 
Rudy, who is a licensed tour guide (and with whom we have taken many tours over the years...also to be found in TripAdvisor under "Rudy's Tours") picked us up at the Amador Condo and took us to the Panama Canal Railway for the 50 mile trip across the Isthmus to Colon. Then, He met us there, to take us over to view the New Wider Locks on the Atlantic side of the Canal. Once we had seen these, and understood the way they functioned, Rudy returned us to our condo. 


We have stayed in all their properties and any would be a great pick . . . clean, comfortable and in top-notch locations and very safe. Attention to detail is what makes their properties stand out and the fact that they are always available for any requests one may have.



After all this time, and our many visits over the years, we have come to think of our hosts as dear Panamanian Friends.
