What does the second payment request reminder look like?

When a guest still owes a balance on a confirmed reservation, Houfy emails them an automated reminder. You are copied in from the third reminder onwards, so you always know when a balance is outstanding.
This applies to guests paying manually. If your guest agreed to automatic payment when they booked, Houfy charges the balance on the due date instead and no reminders are sent - your Reminders list will be empty, which is expected rather than a fault.
What your guest receives
The reminder is sent from automated@houfy.com and is marked as an automated message that cannot be replied to. It contains:
A greeting using the guest's first name
The amount due and the date it falls due
A photo of your property and the property name
Check-in and check-out dates, the due date, and the number of guests
The reservation total, the reservation code, and the outstanding amount
A Pay Due Amount button that opens the payment page
What you receive
Your copy confirms the reminder went out. It is headed "Payment reminder has been sent to [guest name]" and repeats the same reservation summary — property, dates, total, reservation code and amount due — with a Send a message button so you can follow up with the guest directly.
When the next reminder goes out
Every scheduled reminder shows its date, time and status on the reservation. Go to Menu (top right) > Reservations, open the reservation, click Details, and look inside the Payment Status block - the Reminders list is at the bottom of it. Only the host sees this list; your guest does not.
