Creating a seperate direct booking site is our way of saying thank you and that we value returning guests. Pricing will be based on the daily rates listed on other vacation rental sites, which are dynamic, constantly changing and likely different than the price quoted on this site. Once you choose your desired dates and send the booking request, we will send you a quote.

We guarantee you will save a minimum of 17% off Airbnb/VRBOs listed daily rate.

The average savings for a weekend in high season is $80/day while the average savings for a weekend in offseason is $45/day. The required 10% placer county transient occupancy tax rate will be applied to the lowered daily rate. The requested dates will be secured upon confirmation of booking. Only those returning airbnb/vrbo guests that have given and received good reviews in the past will be eligible to book directly with us. We have no interest in offering savings/discounts to those that did not enjoy our home or treated it poorly.

Melissa and Scott are the owners, managers and fellow travelers to 5107 Gold Bend. Melissa has been travelling to Tahoe from the bay area since she was a baby. Once Melissa & Scott got married and started a family, she started dragging the family to hotels and motels in the area in pursuit of Tahoe bliss. Finding a place to call our home while in Tahoe brings us newfound peace and enjoyment of beautiful Tahoe. We hope you feel just as comforted and peaceful while you are visiting our mountain home away from home.

House Rules
RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. All cars must be place the Northstar Guest Parking Pass available to the tenant in the entryway of the unit. Two
(2) parking passes will be available during your stay and must be returned to the entryway table before your exit. Failure to return the parking passes will result in a fine of $10 for each pass which will be resolved through a security deposit claim. Cars parked without a pass are subject to towing.

2. Upon check in, a Recreation Center guest pass will be available to you in the entry. Guests must bring this card with them to the recreation center in order to gain entry. Each guest will be required to pay $5.00 for daily guest access. The recreation center guest pass must must be returned to the entryway table before your exit. Failure
to return the guest pass will result in a fine of $50, which will be resolved through a security deposit claim.

3. If the premises appear dirty or damaged upon Check-in, please inform the owner immediately by texting photographic evidence to 707-328-1249. Evidence is required within 2 hours of entry.

4. Upon check in, the key to the Exterior Equipment Closet will be available to you in the entry. The key will allow you to store and lock-up your outdoor equipment. The closet will be left unlocked when not in use and is available for use after 11am on check-in day (although will not be lockable at this time). Failure to return the key to the entryway will result in a fine of $50.00 which will be resolved through a security deposit claim.

5. Extra overnight guests and pets are NOT allowed. Entry footage collected by the door camera will be reviewed. A violation of this policy will result in potential eviction and forfeit of deposit and any rent paid.

6. Smoking is prohibited inside the building and on the decks. Vaping using an an electronic device is allowed.

7. Please comply with the Placer County Good Neighbor flyer which includes noise ordinances, parking information, snow removal information, max occupancy, bear safety, fire restrictions, emergency numbers and
emergency alert notification system.

8. Upon returning from the mountain or beach, please take off your sandy or dirty shoes outside or in the entry room prior to stepping onto the carpet. Towels in the exterior closet should be used to wipe off sand or dirt/ mud prior to entry.

9. Do not hang towels or articles of clothing over balcony railings.

10. This is the owner's part time home. Keep the property and furnishings in good order, and only use appliances for their intended uses. Please do not take anything from the condo. Items will be inventoried after each stay and removal of private property will be resolved through the security deposit, including linens and towels.
