  2. Click Create (the + button in the top-right).
  3. Select Quote.
  4. Under Choose a listing, pick the property you want to quote.
  5. In Select dates or guests, choose Check in and Check out dates.
  6. Set Guests to the correct number of people.
  7. Under Block these dates on your calendar, choose one option:
    • Yes to hold the dates so others can’t book them.
    • No to leave them open until your guest confirms.

8. Choose the Quote status (how the dates will be held):

    • Tentative BookingDates are temporarily held. These dates will show as blocked only on your Houfy calendaruntil the guest books or the hold expires.
    • Confirmed BookingDates are firmly blocked. These dates will be blocked on Houfy and all connected calendars (e.g., Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com).

9. Review Pricing details:

    • Update Nightly rate, any discounts, and taxes.
    • Use Add New Fee to include extra fees (for example, cleaning).
    • Adjust or confirm any refundable security deposit.

10. (Optional) Click Add/Remove HoufyProtect to include/remove optional damage protection for this booking.

11. Enter Guest Details: First Name, Last Name, and Email Address.

12. Add a short Message to the guest with notes or special information (optional).

13. Set Quote Validity (for example, Expires in 3 days or Always valid).
