How do I change or reset my Houfy password?

Change Your Password

To change your password on Houfy when you're already logged in:

1. Click your profile picture in the top right of Houfy and choose Security & Login - or go straight to houfy.com/account/settings?tab=1.

2. In the Change Password card, click Change, enter your current password, then type your new password twice. Passwords are 6 to 24 characters.

3. Click Update Password. Changing your password signs you out on every other device; the one you are using stays logged in.

Reset Your Password

To reset your password when you can't log in:

1. Go to houfy.com/forgotpassword - or, from the Log in page, enter your email address and click Forgot password? on the password screen.

2. Type the email address your account signs in with, then click Send reset link. The page confirms with "Reset link sent to" and your address.

3. Follow the instructions in the email we send you. The link expires after 24 hours - if it has, request a new one.

If the address you enter is not registered with Houfy, the page tells you so - that is not a fault. The reset only matches the address the account signs in with, not an extra contact address added to the profile later - so try the other email addresses you may have used — including the one on your Google or Facebook account if you signed up that way If the page confirms the link was sent but nothing arrives within a few minutes, check your spam folder.
