How to integrate Hostaway with Houfy
To integrate Hostaway with Houfy please follow these simple steps below:

Sign in to Houfy and open Software Partners (it is in the left sidebar, alongside Manage Listings).
Click Connect with Hostaway.
Create an API key in Hostaway, then fill in the form:
Hostaway Account ID
Hostaway API Key
Do you want to import new listings or map existing listings on Houfy? - choose Import new listings (Houfy creates new listings by pulling the data from Hostaway) or Map existing listings (you match each Hostaway listing to a listing you already have on Houfy).
Tick what you want kept in sync:
Listing rates
Listing availability
All listing data
Listing name
Listing description
Listing photos
Listing amenities/suitability/activities
Click Continue.
If you chose Import new listings, you will receive an email within a few minutes once your listings are in Houfy. If you chose Map existing listings, you map them on the next screen.
Added a new property in Hostaway later? It will not appear on its own - open Software Partners, go to your Hostaway listings and click Pull New Listings.
Sync frequency
Houfy pulls rates, availability and listing content from Hostaway about twice a day, and each run takes an hour or two to work through every account, so allow a little time after you make a change in Hostaway.
Which way the data flows
Listing content, rates and availability travel one way, Hostaway to Houfy - editing them on Houfy will not change them in Hostaway. Reservations travel the other way: a booking made on Houfy, and any later change or cancellation, is sent to Hostaway automatically. The listing side of the connection is a pull: Houfy fetches from Hostaway rather than Hostaway pushing to Houfy, which is why rates and content arrive on the twice-daily cycle above. Reservations go the other way and are sent as they happen, without waiting for that cycle.
Guest messages are not synced. A message a guest sends you on Houfy stays in your Houfy inbox and reaches you by email notification - it is not copied into your Hostaway inbox, and a reply typed in Hostaway does not reach the guest on Houfy.
