How to cancel payment reminder for the reservation?

Payment reminders cannot be cancelled one at a time, and there is no Cancel button for them on the reservation page.

Houfy sends a guest one payment-due reminder for a reservation, on the balance due date. It is sent automatically, based on the reservation itself rather than on a reminder you can switch off, and it is sent only once per reservation.

The reminder is not sent at all when any of these is true on the due date:

• the remaining balance is zero,

• the reservation is marked as fully paid,

• an automatic scheduled charge already exists for the reservation.

So to stop the reminder, remove the reason for it. Open the reservation, go to the Payments section and either collect the balance, mark the reservation as fully paid, or set up a scheduled charge for the balance. Once the balance shows as settled, no reminder goes out.

If the guest has already paid you outside Houfy, open the reservation, go to Actions and choose Add payment details outside Houfy to record it. That clears the balance and stops the reminder.
