Perched atop a beautiful bluffs overlooking the lake, this 3-level home beckons adventure seekers and family memory makers. With breathtaking views and endless outdoor adventures, this retreat offers luxury living for both kids and kids at heart. Featuring two game rooms (Casino/Pool Hall + Kid’s Arcade Floor), soft play space, a hot tub with a view, and a private beach that never loses its depth for swimming, your adventure is just getting started. The feel is Lake Tahoe. The house is all Texas.

From the moment you throw open the doors on Tahoe in Texas, you’re going to be a bit breathless. The two story windows overlooking the lake will draw you out onto the deck and straight down to the water if you aren’t careful.

OPEN PLAN KITCHEN LIVING DINING

Equipped with everything you need to whip up your favorite meals, the kitchen comes with all updated appliances. And because we know everyone makes their coffee every which way we have a Keurig and a pour-over machine. Crockpots, stock pots, and saucepans…we’re here for it.

With two dining tables, you’ll be able to seat everyone at one go for those big friendly meals or put out a sandwich buffet on the kitchen island and let them fend for themselves.

The living room has two sofas to seat all the adults at one time…because you can banish the children to the Kids Cave downstairs.

WHOLE FLOOR OF KIDS GAMES

The room you would have built for yourself when you were 10 years old and money was no object? We made it happen, turning the whole lower floor into a private arcade for the kids (and the kids at heart).

Built for the ultimate sleepover, cousins and friends can’t get enough! Skee Ball, Air Hockey, Arcade Basketball and Arcade Race Car and Pacman are all yours for the stay.

The daybeds in the game room quickly convert into home theatre-like seating so that the whole crew can enjoy movie night snuggled up in front of the enormous Roku TV…and then the adults can tiptoe upstairs to their Balcony Casino + Pool Hall.

BONUS COVERED SOFT PLAY AREA

There is a sliding glass door from the Kids Cave that leads to an outdoor, covered, fenced soft play area with a covered daybed, hanging bench swing, and lawn games like giant Connect-4 and a putting green. (There is a gate here, but please don’t leave littles outside unattended.)

The hot tub is tucked next to the house, near the soft play area so that you can get all the benefits of a view while relaxing in the tub.

INDOOR CASINO & POOL HALL BALCONY

Right above the kitchen is the Casino and Pool Hall Balcony. We’ve hooked you up with a craps table that converts to roulette and blackjack. Wait your turn to play pool by doing some target practice on the hunting arcade game. You can even turn the pool table into a game of ping pong or set up your Texas Hold ’em without the net.

PANORAMIC DECK

There is nothing like waking up early and opening all the doors to the panoramic views of the Canyon Lake Marina, letting the sun and the sounds of nature slowly wake you up. Take your coffee out on the deck and beg your friends to make you breakfast so that you don’t have to give up your seat at the outdoor dining table or your sun lounger.

The gas grill is set up around the corner on the wrap around deck to give the grill master some shade in the late afternoon and cover in case of rain. It is always grilling season at Tahoe in Texas.

SLEEP IS KEY TO A GOOD MORNING

We know it's hard to tear yourself away from the margaritas and the view, but you are going to need your sleep. Big days ahead!

This home has 4 bedrooms and 4 beds on the Kid’s Floor. That’s enough room for 12 friends and family members to make the most out of this incredible home.

*Indoor towels, bedding, soap, shampoos etc provided. We also have beach towels for you so all you have to remember is your swim shoes!

BACKYARD AND PRIVATE BEACH

The sloped backyard leads you down the stairs to the beach. At twilight and sunrise we often spot our curious neighbors (white deer, fox). Please feel free to enjoy our wildlife friends but give them a respectful distance if they seem scared.

At the bottom of the slope is a paving stone path that will eventually turn into a shaded stone and wood stair (about 75 steps). Follow this down to the first stop to find a covered daybed swing, kid’s shade teepee, and gas fireplace. Keep heading down the path to get to your private beach, complete with resort-style sun loungers, a gas fire table, and a shoreline surrounded by aqua-blue waters.

Due to the location of the house, our beach never goes dry. About 13 steps from the shore, the water is always about 5 feet deep due to a “swimming hole”, no matter the lake level. **Littles need to be wearing life jackets and swim shoes if down by the water**

Feel free to come down at sunset and enjoy s’mores beachside. The fireflies aren’t quite bright enough to lead you back to the house, but the stairway lighting will get you back safely.

Fishing is welcome on the beach as long as you bring your gear and your license.

**Canyon Lake has stony shores. Remember to pack swim shoes!**

KAYAK TO DEVIL’S ISLAND

Take the cooler, your fishing gear, and your favorite fishing buddy out on one of the free kayaks (2) (+ life vests). The uninhabited Devil’s Island is a big memory for a little person. Covered with scrub and shells, there isn’t much there except ADVENTURE! We love having picnics and swimming off the little island all by ourselves.

BOAT LAUNCH

Just around the corner from the house is designated Boat Ramp 2, also known as Turkey Cove. Before heading down to the ramp, confirm that the ramp is open with Google.

FLOAT THE GUADALUPE - 10 mins away

Float the Horseshoe Loop with a professional company that supplies you with everything you need to have a great day on the river. Just remember your river shoes.

Whitewater Amphitheater - 12 mins away

Just 12 minutes from the front door to some of the best music in Texas. Be sure to see who will be taking center stage during your stay and make a night of it!

Gruene Hall-30 minutes away

One of the oldest dance halls in Texas and located in the town the time forgot, Gruene Hall has hosted some of the best country music musicians in Texas history. Get your boots on and let’s go dancing!

WATER PARK- 30 mins away

Just a 20-minute drive away, the Schlitterbahn Water Park in New Braunfels is one of the best waterparks in the world. NATURAL BRIDGE CAVERNS + SAFARI - 30 mins away

Explore the incredible beauty of nature inside the Natural Bridge Caverns. With daily tours and tons of activities, you can spend the day wandering around but never get truly lost. There is also a drive-thru Safari and a ropes obstacle course all in the same location.
