New Braunfels vacation rentals

The house is in a wonderful quiet and safe neighborhood. Walks in the neighborhood are nice and the old golf course is available to explore as well. It's too bad the course is closed now, because it's not taken care of anymore. But it still offers nice paths to walk and/or ride a bike. The proximity to just about anything we wanted to do was excellent. In 25 minutes we were at the Alamo, 45 to SeaWorld, etc. The kids loved the pool. They'd be in it every morning (even in winter since it's heated!!) and whenever we weren't doing something else. The house is very comfortable. All rooms were clean and included everything we needed. The kitchen is well equipped and the dishes were very clean. From our experience, we rarely find the dishes clean when we arrive and have to run a load right away. It's not the owners' fault so much as guests putting away dirty dishes. This time the dishes were sparkling clean. Depending on the time of year there, you may want to close the upstairs vents. The upstairs got way too hot for us, but became very comfortable with most of the vents closed. Louis is very attentive and responsive. We only had a couple of observations while there, but they were attended to very quickly. For BBQ, we went to Blanco BBQ. It was pretty amazing. :) Thanks Louis.

Though our trip was cut unexpectedly short, Eric was phenomenal with the unexpectedness of it all. He was very easy to communicate with and a wonderful host all together!! The house was beautiful, the bedrooms were fairly spacious and very pristine, and the bathrooms were spotless. The AC had some hiccups but after a couple hours it cooled down. The kitchen comes with stovetop pans/pots but if you plan to use the oven, you’ll have to purchase some one-time use pans. Other than the small hiccups on the first day, the rest of our stay went as smooth as could be. Wonderful house, wonderful host!!

We had an amazing stay at this condo on the Comal River! The location couldn’t have been better. One of our favorite features was the private river access, which made getting on and off the Comal so easy. The famous Tube Chute was only about a 15-minute walk away, making it incredibly convenient to spend the day floating the river without worrying about parking or transportation. If you’re looking for something perfectly located off the Comal River, this condo is an excellent choice. We would absolutely stay here again!
