I recently had the pleasure of staying at Allandale Guesthouse in Austin, and it was absolutely perfect! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. The location was ideal, providing easy access to all the vibrant attractions of Austin while offering a peaceful retreat away from the bustle of the city. The guesthouse itself was impeccably clean and stylishly decorated. It was spacious and well-appointed, featuring all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay—comfy bed, high-quality linens, and a well-stocked bathroom. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, from the charming decor to the thoughtful touches like complimentary snacks and beverages. The hosts of the guesthouse were exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Their genuine care and attention made my experience truly memorable. Overall, Allandale Guesthouse truly exceeded all my expectations. Its perfect blend of comfort, charm, and hospitality makes it a standout choice for anyone visiting Austin. I can't wait to return on my next trip to this vibrant city!

I think everyone expects for listings to put their best foot forward with the pictures. What’s most surprising about this listing is that the pictures still don’t fully do it justice. You’ve got to experience this place for yourself. This house was carefully crafted and designed. Whether you’re getting away with friends or family there are a plethora of sleeping options, open space, and spa-like aesthetics to make it feel like a retreat. The hosts also provide hotel-like conveniences like shampoo, body wash and conditioner in the bathrooms, several crisp clean white towels, comfortable cotton bedding, and pool towels for the hot tub. I am not a coffee drinker but there’s also a nice coffee bar set up off the kitchen! The location is also minutes from downtown where you can access good food and vibes for entertainment. Our favorite highlights: double shower, games, and hot tub!!! We will definitely look to rebook when visiting Austin in the future!

This house was equipped with everything needed for both kids and adults for a self contained, safe getaway during the pandemic! The house boasts the perfect layout for a large family, with five bedrooms downstairs and a big loft area with another bed upstairs. The living area is so expansive and looks directly out onto the pool so you can easily watch any swimmers. The pool is in immaculate condition and the covered patio area is large with multiple seating areas. The 100 degree weather didn’t stop us from enjoying every meal outside because the covered patio was so inviting! Everything in the house was in excellent working condition and there were so many little “extras” that were above and beyond what one normally expects from a vacation rental - many inflatables and sunscreen available right on the patio for the pool, a kitchen stocked with granola bars, oatmeal, and cereal for guests in the kitchen (a real hit with my kids) and jumbo Jenga and cornhole games for more outdoor play if you ever tire from the pool. The owner, Shanna, was so helpful and eager to answer any questions regarding navigating the city. She even took the time to tell us to be on the watch for the bats as they fly over the creek in the backyard in the evening - what an awesome sight we would have missed without her heads up! The house is just a few minutes walk from a beautiful paved concrete trail that is partially covered with trees on either side (and even a tunnel that was a highlight for my kids to skateboard through) and also just a few minutes drive from the Play for All park. My kids would have been content just playing in the pool the entire time and exploring by the creek that was right in the backyard. Check out was an absolute breeze. Only regret I have is that our entire family wasn’t able to get together to enjoy this house. We will definitely be booking again! Thank you, Shanna, for salvaging our summer during the pandemic with a safe and beautiful spot to play and relax!

Our group of 4 had an AMAZING stay! We had the opportunity to check in early, which was helpful as we were traveling with dogs. The house was very dog friendly and a great neighborhood to take the dogs for their daily walks! Also, the house was extremely clean and the AC worked awesome in the HOT summer temps! The fans kept the bedrooms extremely comfortable while sleeping. The best part of our stay was the mattresses!! I slept so great every night! Our hosts were amazing in leaving a couple of waters and snacks for us upon arrival and it was so great after our long day of driving! I would highly recommend this house to anyone visiting this area. It’s close enough to a major highway and Walmart and grocery stores were very close for any additional shopping that was needed. Will definitely stay again!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my stay at Songhee’s place! The house was absolutely spotless—cleanliness is a top priority for me, and this home exceeded all expectations. Every corner was immaculate, which made the space feel so welcoming and relaxing. What truly set this experience apart was Songhee’s incredible thoughtfulness and hospitality. She went above and beyond to make my birthday celebration extra special, in ways I never could have imagined. From the little touches to her warm and generous spirit, Songhee made me feel truly cared for. It’s rare to find someone who takes such genuine pride in ensuring their guests have an unforgettable stay, and she did just that. I wholeheartedly recommend this home to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. Songhee’s attention to detail, kindness, and effort to go the extra mile made this stay one I’ll always cherish. Elizabeth was a great host, she was very responsive and helpful when it comes to tourist spots and restaurant recommendations. This was my first time in Texas and nothing disappointed. Her place is clean, and comfortable, and has all the necessary provisions needed to feel right at home. I would definitely recommend staying at Elizabeth’s place for a nice getaway, plus you don't have to worry about heavy foot traffic because it’s very private. This is definitely a place to consider if you're in town. Thanks, Elizabeth!

This is the second time we stayed at Son’s home! We have stayed at many Airbnb’s and this is by far the best! Son has clear and precise directions for everything from check in to check out! He makes wonderful suggestions for Local, coffee, shops, and restaurants!! The home is absolutely spotless! The kitchen is fully equipped! He has every type of coffee and tea you can imagine. There is also every condiment you would ever need.! Even though we did not cook, it is a fully stocked kitchen. The beds and pillows are so comfortable. I never have a problem sleeping here. Most importantly, he is so responsive! I told him when we were arriving and when we were departing and he answered immediately! He was always offering to help if we should need something! We will be coming back in a few months and this is where we are staying! You will not find a cleaner home or a better host anywhere! We feel like home here! Thank you Son!

One of my favorite places I've stayed in the world. everything was carefully laid out and planned. little things like a filtered water system to the lamp cord lights being glued to an accessible area. all high quality products from IKEA. Comfortable bed, sheets, and pillows. the feng shui of the place was perfect. love the place so much that I booked it for 2 weeks total
