Old Florida charm meets modern luxury--that is the Merry Mermaid Tree House. Our home is located 5 minutes from downtown Bridge Street that features boutique shops, restaurants, putt putt, ice cream, and nightlife. This unique home features two king master suites that each have their own exterior entrance and complete privacy (plus mini fridge + keurig!). The bunk room / game room is perfect for the kiddos--they will love the Golden Tee Arcade game + a game table with anything possible they might enjoy playing! The backyard oasis features a brand new (February 2023) pool and spa combo ("champagne style") with a Teak deck, lounge chairs, and adirondack seating. There is also pool basketball, connect 4, and a bag toss game. The rooftop deck off the 2nd floor master features an outdoor shower, a sectional seating with a large umbrella for enjoying the Gulf views. Enjoy a nap, yoga, or wine while you want the sun set! You will never want to leave this unique home or Anna Maria Island!!

Sleeping Configuration

First Floor King Master

This amazing master suite has a King bed plus a twin over twin daybed for extra sleeping space or lounging. It has a kitchenette with a sink, microwave, and fridge/freezer. There is a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo.

2nd Floor King Master Suite

1 king bed

The second floor king master suite (with stairs) has its own private entrance off of the pool area. It features a king bed, a full bathroom with walk in shower (room for 2), and a mini bar with a mini fridge and a keurig. Off of this master suite is a rooftop deck with a shower, sectional seating, and unique surfboard bar that has gulf views.

1st floor Bunk room/Game room

4 single beds

The bunk room / game room is the ultimate kid hang out. It features 2 sets of twin bunk beds (4 twin beds total), plus a couch for lounging. There is Golden Tee Arcade game plus a game table. This bunk room has a bathroom off of it with a shower.

Getting around

We use Tommy Car (https://10to8.com)--a local veteran owned transportation company who can accommodate up to 7 passengers with transportation to the house from SRQ, PIE, TPA airports. When on the island, there is a free shuttle that runs the length of it. The Monkey Bus also runs on the island and works for tips. We have a 6 seat golf cart that is exclusive to our property that is available to rent during any stay (Beach 'n Rides will come to the home to collect payment and get you setup).

HOUSE RULES:

Thank you for choosing the Merry Mermaid Tree House for your vacation. This is our family beach house that we love and cherish so we ask you to treat it like your own during your stay with us.

- Rule #1 - See every sunset!! ☺

- No smoking inside the home. Under age drinking and illegal drug use is not permitted anywhere on the property.

- No pets are allowed.

- No parties. Outdoor security cameras monitor actual guest count.

- Check-in: After 4:00 PM - Check-out: Before 10:00 AM

- Maximum number of guests is 10. Additional guests will be charged to the guest responsible for the reservation at a rate of $100 per person per night.

- Quiet Time is from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. This means no outside music and noise must be kept to a minimum as voices can carry in this quiet residential area.

- ALL garbage must be bagged before being placed in the garbage cans. This keeps the odor down and pests away.

- Prior to check out, please load and start the dishwasher, take out the trash, and be sure all windows are closed and latched and all entry/exit doors to the home are locked.

- While our home is for families and kids are encouraged to come, you are responsible to watch your kids. Kids should always be supervised by an adult while on the rooftop deck and AT ALL TIMES in the pool area.

- Please return any beach items used (chairs, toys, umbrella, wagon) to the storage bin prior to departure

Cancellation Policy

Full refund if cancelled more than 30 days prior to stay; 50% refund if cancelled more than 14 days prior to stay; no refund if cancelled less than 14 days prior to stay (** if able to rebook, a full refund will be given minus any fees)
