Indian Rocks Beach vacation rentals

Susanne’s place was fantastic! The house was clean and super cute, with fun decor and all the comforts of home (kitchen wares, TV/Cable, AC, etc.). It is the perfect size for a small family. The 2 bedrooms are separate and allowed for privacy between parents and kids. The beds were comfy with plenty of pillows and blankets. The backyard was a tropical paradise, with a privacy fence, beautiful flowers and plants, fun decor, and a covered sitting area. Lovely place for a cup of coffee in the morning. Susanne offered plenty of beach supplies (towels, chairs, rafts, umbrella, frisbees, etc.). The proximity to the beach is absolutely unbeatable!! The public beach access is a 3-minute walk, right across the street (250 steps is accurate) and we walked there and back to the house several times a day. The Kooky Coconut restaurant was great (excellent Cubans and ice cream) and was right across the street. The house is also really close to lots of parks and restaurants, as well as the Florida Botanical Gardens and St. John’s Pass. Susanne was friendly and helpful, and she answered all inquiries immediately. The price was outstanding for what you get in this listing, especially considering all of the amenities and how close the beach is. We walked to the beach every night to watch the beautiful West Coast sunset. If you’re into birds, this place is perfect. On the beach I saw lots of laughing gulls, pelicans , black Skimmers and egrets and flying around the neighborhood were 20+ Nanday Parakeets . There’s also a Seabird rehabilitation sanctuary about a ten minute drive away. Susanne’s AirBnb is highly recommended! If the dates are available, snatch it up before someone else does. This was our 2nd time staying in Indian Rocks Beach and the 2nd time at the Driftwood Sands. We stayed 1 month the first time and would have stayed for 2 months this year but COVID got in the way. We absolutely loved everything about the condo and the area. The condo is very nicely appointed and pristine with new appliances and furniture and everything else you might need. The people at Driftwood Sands are very friendly , the pool and grilling areas are great and what could be better than being steps from the ocean. Our typical day was coffee on the balcony listening to the birds and hearing and watching the ocean. This was followed by a 45 minute walk on the beach. Every evening we watched a gorgeous, breathtaking sunset, with a glass of wine. Most balconies did the same thing. Bonus, it's a short walk to about ten great restaurants including a new Italian restaurant right across the street, and a short drive to dozens more. Publix is about a 10 minute drive. There's a gas station / convenience store across the street - a little pricey, but easy if you run out of something. We had visits from friends and family, including our granddaughter, at various times, and they all loved it. The only problem we encountered was the dishwasher broke down but it was fixed the same day, and we were left a bottle of wine for our inconvenience. Would we go back? COVID permitting yes, we've already booked for 3 months in 2021.

AMAZING! I cant say enough about this home. Everything in the description was correct! What my family valued most was...More than enough seating for our group of 12, TVs in every room with tons of channels, kitchen stuff/coffee ect was provided, new appliances, comfy beds, plenty of hot water for showers, soaps/shampoo provided, the home was decorated so professionally, patio/pool area gave the feel of an expensive resort, pool was clean and many floats and pool toys were provided, pergola had a fire pit table with very comfy chairs, with lots of recliners and seating, there was plenty of parking available for our large group. Also there are plenty of nice restaurants, shopping and the beach is less than 10 minutes away. My family and I use Airbnb often for travel, and I can honestly say this is the best over all place we have ever stayed in. Jim & Christin have provided everything you can ask for in a home away from home. Best vacation ever!!!!

I will sum it up in two words, LUXURIOUS and AMAZING!!! When you approach the driveway, you will be taken back of the beautiful two story home and the spaciousness. VIEWS, VIEWS, and more VIEWS! As you walk into the home, you are greeted by natural lighting, a living room, a kitchen you will enjoy cooking in, and a water view you will always remember. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The master and fourth bedroom on the second floor, have a breath taken water front VIEW and access to a second floor balcony/sundeck. The first floor master bedroom has access to the covered patio and water front views. When you step into the backyard, it is breath taken! The views of the water, natural surroundings, birds, and quietness were incredible. During our stay, we enjoyed coffee by the dock and kayaking. While walking to the beach (a 10 minute walk), the neighborhood was beautiful and folks were friendly. Our host (Grace) and her assistant were AMAZING! From the minute I texted her until the end of our stay, she answered all my questions. Her assistant, Eric, did a fantastic job in answering any of my questions. I would send him a text and within 30 seconds, he replied and provided me with the answer or suggestions. Because of the wonderful customer service, comfort, and views, I will be returning for future vacations! Thank you Grace!

Bahia Paradise is the most perfect vacation place! It is welcoming , clean, roomy and has all the conveniences of home. The back yard is an amazing dream oasis with a refreshing pool that overlooks the water and the private dock. Perfect to have coffee in the morning and watch the manatee and dolphin. Paddle boards and kayaks for exercise or pleasure create hours of fun. The kids loved it! The golf cart makes it easier to get around to the beach and those after dinner trips for ice cream! It’s the perfect get away, yet feels like home! Matthew is a great host, very nice and very responsive! This is our 5th year staying here and can’t wait until next year! A really great house and Tom was in communication easily! We were there 5 days with 8 adults, 1 child and 3 toddlers under 2, and there was plenty of room for us all. The location is about 3 blocks from the beach - easy to walk, but with toddlers, we took the golf cart (which was very convenient to have for running to the small stores or ice cream). The backyard was very large and had astroturf, not grass, so you never had to worry about dirt, stickers or ants. Plenty of lounges, chairs for sitting outside. we used the outside bar room (with couches and a TV) all day long. Tons of pool toys and beach towels. The pool was cool enough (unusual for an uncovered pool in July in Florida) and large enough for most adults and all of the kids. Plenty of lighting at night, to sit and watch the kids play in the pool, and the converted garage doors, when left open, provided a nice breeze. we were outside from 9am - 8pm The inside was well-appointed, not cluttered. Large TV, plenty of seating, a long island to sit at. The beds were comfortable. No problems encountered and the house stayed VERY cool, which is surprising in a 3-story in July. The 2nd story Master retreat was huge - we placed 2 of the pack-n-plays in there for the babies (dark and away from the general areas). Plenty of small gestures, such as shampoo, conditioner, paper towels, laundry detergent (2 laundry rooms!!). We all agreed we would be back the next time we are in Indian Rocks!!

Staying here was an ultimate pleasure. Tom & Dave were super friendly and made us feel at ease. Tom lives close by if you need anything, but the whole space felt very private and homey. The house itself is beautiful: recently remodeled with great care. The high-end furniture is new and the space is tasteful. The beds were comfy & there's tons of space, which makes it perfect for both large groups and families. And it's relaxing looking over the water while using the full-service kitchen. The backyard space is divine: we used the kayaks and saw dolphins & manatees! The pool was well lit at night, and was fun and safe for old and young folks alike (we had a baby girl in our party and she loved it) The golfcart was a godsend and we took it into town for lunch and live music at the local bar (Crabby Bill's- great!) All in all, the best airbnb experience I've had in a while. I don't go to Florida often, but might just book another stay to have this whole experience again. 5/5, 10/10.

Outstanding stay! Everything was clean when we got there, location was prime (5 minute walk to the beach, 1 minute walk to two great restaurants), and most importantly, the communication was timely and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again and again and again ...
