Incase you do not have a car to drive around OKI Cabs is a convenient service within the island. Uber and Lyft are not very reliable here. OKI Cabs also offers pickups/drop-offs from Myrtle Beach airport.
Renting bicycles to move around the island is also a very popular option. There are multiple places where you can rent bikes, so please ask us!
We are in the eastern part of the island with some permanent and some seasonal residents. The uncrowded beaches on this part and the magical tide pools make this the perfect destination for beachgoers and families with kids!
Staying here you will enjoy Oak Island like a local! You will be just a few blocks from Middleton Park, the town's activity center with a Splash Pad, playground, tennis courts and the home to Farmer's markets and the Outdoor Concert series in the summer.
There are 2 grocery stores on the island - Publix and Food Lion as well as a Lowe's Foods just off the island.
