Inside, you'll find a spacious living room, eat-in kitchen, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and laundry facilities. Recent updates include a new HVAC system, washer/dryer, refrigerator and other kitchen appliances. After a day at the beach (just 3 minutes away), relax on the gated front porch’s swings and deck chairs while ceiling fans provide a gentle breeze and keep little ones and pets safe. A side door leads to a fully fenced backyard, ideal for letting your dog roam freely.

In this Oak Island Home Rental there is a king-sized bed in the main bedroom, which is equipped with its own Roku TV and full bathroom. The second bedroom features a comfortable queen-sized bed, while the third bedroom is ideal for kids and teens with a single-over-double bunk bed and a trundle bed that pulls out from underneath.

In addition to the air conditioning, most rooms have ceiling fans providing a gentle breeze. The laundry room has a washer/dryer, and a second full bathroom nearby. Clean bed linens are provided in all rooms and will be neatly folded and placed on the beds upon your arrival.

The front of the house has a large gated porch with two porch swings and three patio chairs, and is cooled by two large ceiling fans. The house is pet-friendly (with a two-dog limit) and pets are given easy access to the fully-fenced backyard. The driveway offers ample parking, and doubles as a pickleball/badminton court (net, rackets etc are included). The side yard offers additional parking and a nearby hose, convenient for boaters. The backyard has a charcoal grill available for your use, and a second hose near the side entrance, helpful for rinsing off sand after a day at the beach. Your stay includes free use of beach towels, beach chairs, a cooler, a Bluetooth-enabled portable speaker, and a beach umbrella.

The living room features a Roku TV with local TV channels and sign-in access to your Netflix, Prime, Disney and Hulu accounts. Music fans will love the Bluetooth-enabled portable speaker, with AM/FM radio and the ability to sync with both iPhone and Android. The house also offers excellent WIFI.

GUEST ACCESS

You'll access the house by entering your unique door code into the smart lock, while a single external security camera provides additional security. Previous guests have praised how well the house is stocked. The kitchen comes stocked with the basics - coffee, tea, sugar, salt/pepper, napkins/paper towels, plates, utensils, etc. There is laundry detergent on hand as well.

The Town of Oak Island also offers numerous amenities including restaurants, golf, tennis, basketball, splash pad, dog park, picnic area, boat launches, and public docks. The proximity to historic Southport is an added bonus, with more great restaurants and local history to explore. And the aquarium in Fort Fisher is an enjoyable ferry ride for a fun day trip, great for a rainy day.
