Holden Beach vacation rentals

My family has vacationed at Holden Beach for 25 plus years bouncing from rental to rental hoping to find a vacation home worth returning to. C’s by the Sea is that home. From my past vacation rental home experiences, Cheryl’s attention to detail is second to none. She personally greeted us on arrival and guided us on a tour of her beautiful home, while someone she contracted with unloaded and delivered our baggage to our respective rooms. On arrival was a welcome gift for the adults and surprises for the kids, as well as arranging a daily beach canopy set up and take down. These are just several of the numerous ways Cheryl’s personal touch is evident. She was also available throughout the week should we need anything. The fact she meticulously maintains C’s by the Sea is evident down to the smallest detail, such as being on site each departure morning to assist and oversee preparations for the next arriving guests. Because of Cheryl’s behind the scenes personal involvement this was among the most memorable of family vacations. In fact, we already booked C’s by the Sea for next year. Thanks for a wonderful and stress free vacation experience Cheryl!

Our first time booking, new to the area and unfamiliar with the vacation rental process, I thought to myself GOSH I hope I am not making a mistake, this may be the first and last time we go. Arriving there I was pleasantly suprised! Fist impression, quaint and quiet. Upon entering: Clean and smell of freshly laundered linens. The place was immaculate. The furniture didnt look overly used. It looked like this place could actually be my OWN beach home away from home.... AND IT WAS! Having all the necessities, and what you may need or forgotten is only a couple miles up the road at Dollar General, Walgreens or Food Lion! How convenient! I loved every single thing about the place. My elder in law had to have direct beach access... it was soooo nice for her to sit on the covered back porch and watch from inside so as not to get too much sun, or walk down for an hour or two at a time. So nice not to have to haul all the beach must have's and forced to stay all day due to the inconvenience of STUFF you need for long stints on the beach. Morning sunrise and sunsets so close to the pier made for great photo ops! The layout of the beach house was most favorable for parties of 6 and privacy with a baby. THIS WILL BE THE ONLY PLACE WE WILL RETURN TO FROM NOW ON :) Thank you Beth, you were absolutely right - it was the perfect little place!

First time we rented a house for a family vacation and we were not disappointed. The location of the house and the private access directly to the beach, along with beautiful views of the ocean from the wall of picture windows were amazing. Among other things, we enjoyed the surf, spending quality time together on the porch rocking chairs and having fun with both the adults and grandchildren in the new saltwater pool in the afternoons. The submerged shelf ledge in the pool allowed adults to sit and children to both walk along and jump into the pool. There was plenty of seating on the pool deck as well. The house easily accommodated our family of six adults and four children under age seven. We were all able to have meals together at one large table and the open floor plan was a plus for keeping an eye on the children. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms were ample in size. The owners went above and beyond communicating with us both before and during our stay. We definitely recommend this beach house and hope you enjoy making as many wonderful memories as we did!

We come down to Holden beach every year in August and have stayed in many houses over the years. Beth and Bill's house at 503 OBW was one of the best. There are 2 levels so there was room for the kids to have an area and the adults to have an area. the house is dog friendly so I was able to bring my dog Harley along and that was one of the best things this year as he is one of the family. Linens were provided and the house had everything we needed to enjoy the week. There was a nice big outside shower that we used every day. There was a side patio on the lower level that was fun to hang out outside and chat. There was a screened in porch on upper level as well for overlooking the beach. The beach was right outside the back door and we really enjoyed being that close and the great views from the back deck. We really enjoyed our visit this year and much thanks to Beth and Bill for making us feel at home.

My husband and I enjoyed our recent visit to Holden Beach. We stayed in the downstairs unit of Wind Beneath My Wings. From the moment we arrived and found the beautiful flowers and welcome note, we felt at home. The house was very clean, cozy, comfortable, and exactly as described. It fit us perfectly. We had everything we needed to allow us to spend our days on the beach, relaxing. With the beach just steps away, it was easy to get in some long walks. This helped us justify having ice cream every night. Did I mention there are some fabulous ice cream shops nearby? Beth, the owner, was great to work with. She communicated with us about the house before our vacation. She sent us information about restaurants and attractions in the area. She even checked in with us during our stay to see if we had any questions or needed anything. We felt well cared for. The 5 ladies staying in the upstairs unit were very friendly and we enjoyed being their neighbors, although we couldn’t hear them and they said the same thing about us. Being back at Holden Beach after too many years felt like returning to an old friend. Thank you, Beth and Bill, for allowing us to stay in your home. We hope to do so again.

We had a wonderful three night stay at Anchor's Away - four adults, three tweens. Plenty of room for all of us and we loved the multiple porch areas for eating and relaxing. Location was perfect - the canal was great for fishing and or kayaking but yet a super quick five minute walk to the beach via the public access by the Holden pier. The kids loved fishing off the dock and looking for crabs. The extras provided by the host were what stood out for us - it was wonderful to be able to use the kayaks in the canals. The host also provided the beach gear we needed (beach cart, beach towels, boogie boards and beach mat) which means we did not have to bring everything from home. Lots of places to rinse off such as outdoor shower and foot spray to eliminate sandy feet in the house. Kitchen had everything we needed - lots of dishes, plates, silverware, pots and pans of various sizes etc and we found everything to be clean. We thought the house looked better than the pictures. Washer/dryer is accessible on the first floor by an inside stairwell. Becky was responsive to questions and we will definitely stay again if in the area.

Our first time staying at the East end, but our 7th year at OIB. My teenage children loved having their own space and queen beds. The location to the beach is unmatched, and the putt-putt course and fire pit were enjoyable unique additions to the property. The memory foam mattresses lead to the best sleep ever, and the items provided (coffee, creamer, tea, beach supplies, shower supplies, sheets and towels) was a wonderful touch. The outdoor shower was a great way to get the extra sand off. We would highly recommend this home to anyone.

First I have to say that this was the CLEANEST short term rental we have ever stayed in! Everything was sparkling clean without a speck of dust to be found. The linens were pristine and the furniture was spotless with clean covers on everything. A close second to that was the communication from the host! So helpful, kind and readily available should you need anything. The location is perfect. Directly across from beach access and has an amazing view of the canal from the back yard! There is a screened in front porch to sit back in the evening and enjoy the coastal breeze! This spot has games and books for all ages in case you get stuck inside during a beach storm. Our kids loved that! Just book it!! You won’t be disappointed!!
