Hello friends—welcome to Chic Beach Shack, our nearly beachfront bungalow a two-minute walk from Silver Strand Beach in Oxnard. Vaulted wood ceilings, vintage beach charm, and comfortable spaces make settling in easy. Spend the day on the sand, then come home to the hot tub, dinner in the huge private backyard, and an evening around the fire pit. Dogs are welcome, and beach gear is ready to go. Hosted with care by Chic Beach Vacations.

There’s a reason our company was named after this home—Chic Beach Shack has that special something. Vaulted wood ceilings, vintage beach touches, and modern comforts give it a warm, welcoming feel.

Enjoy coffee before your beach walk, stretch out on the sofa afterward, and settle in for a movie by the electric fireplace. The fully stocked kitchen has a coffee station, and mini-split A/C in each room keeps everyone comfortable.

The home is single-story, with a few interior steps.

***WHERE YOU’LL SLEEP***

• King bedroom with an ensuite bathroom.
• Queen bedroom.
• Sleeper sofa in the living room.

Hotel-quality linens, extra pillows, and plush towels are provided.

***BATHROOM***
The home has one bathroom, adjoining the king bedroom, with a double vanity, deep soaking tub, and walk-in shower. Fresh towels and essential bath amenities are provided.

***YOUR PRIVATE BACKYARD***
The huge, fully fenced backyard is the heart of Chic Beach Shack. Enjoy a soak in the hot tub, cook dinner on the gas BBQ, and gather around the outdoor table with seating for eight.

A gazebo, fire pit lounge seating, and string lights make evenings here especially inviting.

***BEACH DAYS MADE EASY***
Silver Strand Beach is a two-minute walk away. We provide chairs, a wagon, an umbrella, boogie boards, and beach toys—just add your snacks and head to the sand.

***FAMILIES & DOGS***
A high chair and Pack ’n Play are always available for little ones. Dogs are welcome, too, with a fully fenced backyard to enjoy together.

The dog fee is $25 per dog, per stay, payable through your Guest Portal. Please have your dog arrive clean and on flea control. Sorry, no cats.

***PARKING***
The driveway accommodates up to two vehicles. Additional street parking is available nearby, though not directly in front of the house. Please follow posted parking signs.

***GETTING READY FOR YOUR STAY***
After booking, you’ll receive a message asking you to confirm your reservation and digitally sign our occupancy agreement. Completing this required step triggers delivery of your check-in information.

You’ll then be sent a link to your GUEST PORTAL with arrival details, Wi-Fi information, and local recommendations.

***GUEST PORTAL & OPTIONAL EXTRAS***

• Your entry code is released inside your Guest Portal 48 hours before check-in, after you’ve completed the occupancy agreement.
• Early check-in options appear five days before arrival.
• Early check-in and late checkout carry an additional fee and are subject to availability.
• The dog fee is $25 per dog, per stay.
• Optional experiences, including private chefs, massage sessions, and boat tours, cost extra and depend on provider availability. Pricing is confirmed before you commit.

The home’s listed amenities are included in your stay.

Quiet hours are taken seriously. Please keep outdoor sound considerate. By 10 p.m., bring conversations indoors and turn off outdoor music. Enjoy the rest of your evening quietly inside.

Silver Strand is a beach neighborhood in the Oxnard area where a walk on the sand can become part of your daily routine. Spend the morning at the beach, come home for lunch, and head back out for sunset.

Nearby Channel Islands Harbor offers dining and opportunities for kayaking, fishing, and boat outings. Your Guest Portal includes local recommendations to help you explore—and we’re happy to help you choose something your group will enjoy.

***GETTING AROUND***
Silver Strand Beach is a two-minute walk from Chic Beach Shack. A car is useful for groceries, harbor outings, and exploring Ventura.

Santa Barbara and Malibu are also options for a day trip. The driveway accommodates two vehicles, with additional street parking nearby.

***FINAL NOTE***
Chic Beach Shack is a little house with a big heart. Guests come for the beach, but they come back for backyard dinners, cozy corners, and that feeling of slowing down in just the right place.
