How to remove myself from cohosting access?

If you co-host someone else’s listing and no longer want that access, you can end it yourself. You do not need the owner to do it for you.

Remove your own co-hosting access

• Go to Manage Listings.

• Click Remove my co-hosting access.

• Click Remove my access to confirm.

What changes

Your access ends for that listing. It no longer appears under Co-hosted Listings in the left menu, and that menu item disappears altogether once you are not a co-host on any listing.

Whichever permissions the owner had switched on for you stop working — editing listing data, reading reservations and sending messages, emails when a guest replies, seeing the listing in the multi-calendar, and setting your own payout method.

The owner stays the host shown on the reservation, as they were while you co-hosted, so removing yourself does not leave a booking without a host.

If you change your mind

You cannot give yourself access back. The owner has to send a new invitation, and it is valid for 7 days. See Add a co-host on Houfy for how they do that.
