My stories will offer some advice based on my own experiences. However, I won't go into depth about all that you should eventually get to like improving the performance of your Web site and striving for Search Engine Optimization (SEO). The goal of this series of stories is just to get you set up with a Web site so that you can direct people to learn more about you and your property.

Our Process Outline

  1. Pick a domain name.
  2. Choose a hosting service for your Web site.
  3. Enable the use of WordPress and pick a WordPress Theme.
  4. Integrate Houfy embedded tools like your calendar and pricing chart.
  5. Configure one or more email accounts associated with your new domain name.
  6. Configure Google Analytics to learn about those accessing your Web site.

Let's Get Started....

Since my Web sites are hosted from SiteGround, the process I describe will have details on how that platform operates. But it's most likely that whatever hosting platform you choose will have the same capability and a similar process.

I've created additional Houfy Stories that are available in this Guidebook for setting up your own Web site. They're numbered following the outline above.
