My stories will offer some advice based on my own experiences. However, I won't go into depth about all that you should eventually get to like improving the performance of your Web site and striving for Search Engine Optimization (SEO). The goal of this series of stories is just to get you set up with a Web site so that you can direct people to learn more about you and your property.
Our Process Outline
- Pick a domain name.
- Choose a hosting service for your Web site.
- Enable the use of WordPress and pick a WordPress Theme.
- Integrate Houfy embedded tools like your calendar and pricing chart.
- Configure one or more email accounts associated with your new domain name.
- Configure Google Analytics to learn about those accessing your Web site.

Since my Web sites are hosted from SiteGround, the process I describe will have details on how that platform operates. But it's most likely that whatever hosting platform you choose will have the same capability and a similar process.

6. Configure Google Analytics
Google Analytics is a way to keep track of how your Web site is being searched for and accessed. Information about where the users are located, what devices they're using, what pages they're interacting with and how they find your Web site is included. You'll get a feel if that Facebook Ad you placed brought any new traffic to your Web site. You'll see that the new post you wrote is really getting a lot of hits.

4. Integrate Houfy Embedded Tools
To save effort on setting up your new Web site, you can embed items that you already have on your Houfy listing. When editing your Houfy listing, you can find some items have an "embed" button. When selecting the "embed" button, Houfy will display the HTML necessary to integrate into your Web site.
