Three generations of my family have lived on this 90 acre parcel of wooded land in Central Virginia. I am a former French teacher and a former winery manager. I enjoy traveling the world but I also love to be at home, walking in the woods with my dogs and watching the sunset over the Blue Ridge Mountains from my back deck.

The cabin is in a mountainous and rural area and can be intermittent especially if thunderstorms or raining. We have DSL through Lumen/Centurylink. Occasionally, inclement weather will affect speeds and we have no control over that. Please be patient if the connection is not as fast as you are used to in the city. word is in the house manual as well as on a laminated page on the refrigerator. Feel free to use your mobile hotspot to connect to your computer, as that may provide
