The cabin is in a mountainous and rural area and can be intermittent especially if thunderstorms or raining. We have DSL through Lumen/Centurylink. Occasionally, inclement weather will affect speeds and we have no control over that. Feel free to use your mobile hotspot to connect to your computer, as that may provide you with quicker speeds.
