Can automatic payment reminders be stopped and how does someone do it?
Yes. Marking the reservation as fully paid stops every remaining automatic reminder to your guest. You do it from the Actions panel on the reservation, and it cannot be undone from your own dashboard afterwards.

Yes. Marking the reservation as fully paid stops all remaining automatic payment reminders to your guest.
Go to Menu (top right) > Reservations.
Open the guest's reservation and click Details.
In the Actions panel beside the reservation, click Mark as Fully Paid. It is the same panel that lists the completed payments with their Refund buttons and the security deposit with a Request button, alongside Add payment details outside Houfy, Change reservation and Cancel reservation.
Add a short note explaining why, and confirm with the Mark as Fully Paid button in the dialog.
Please note this is not reversible from your dashboard at the moment - once a reservation is marked fully paid the button is no longer shown, so contact support if you need it changed back.
Marking a reservation fully paid does not take any money; it only records that the balance is settled and stops the reminders.
