Step onto the balcony with your coffee and the Gulf is right there — sun on the water, the pool glowing below you, nothing between you and the morning but salt air. A short five-minute walk, your private neighborhood stretch of sand is waiting. Come back whenever you like: the pool is heated, so October swims like July. Five bedrooms, ten people, and finally enough room that nobody's negotiating over the couch — plus enough quiet to actually hear the surf.
About The Space
The pool is the center of everything here. It's private — not shared with a neighborhood, not on a posted schedule — and it's heated saltwater, which means it's soft on your skin in August and genuinely swimmable in November. Loungers ring the deck, the grilling area is steps away, and an outdoor shower waits by the door so the sand never makes it inside.
Both floors open onto balconies, and both look at the Gulf. Morning coffee upstairs, sunset drink downstairs, kids visible in the pool from either one.
The second floor is where everyone ends up. It's one open room — living, dining, and a kitchen the whole group can actually cook in, not the usual rental galley with four forks. Whoever's cooking stays in the conversation. There's a half bath up here too, and the balcony is right off the living space, so the door stays open all day.
The primary suite is up here as well: king bed, its own bathroom, and a door that closes on the rest of the house — which, in a home that sleeps ten, matters more than it sounds.
Downstairs is where the rest of the house sleeps. Four bedrooms, thoughtfully split: two with their own ensuite bathrooms, and two sharing a Jack-and-Jill between them. The setup two families traveling together keep hoping for and rarely find. The laundry room is right by the staircase, exactly where you want it when the beach bag comes back wet.
Four and a half bathrooms for ten people means nobody queues at eight in the morning. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and toys are already here, and so are all the linens — leave yours at home.

Location and What's Nearby
The house sits on the quiet end of Gulf Shores, along the Fort Morgan peninsula — far enough west that the crowds thin out, close enough that everything is still an easy drive. Your deeded beach access is about a five-minute walk from the front door.
Kiva Dunes Golf Course — 5 minutes. One of Alabama's best public courses, close enough for an early nine before the house wakes up.
Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge — about 10 minutes. Quiet dune trails and a near-empty beach at the end of Pine Beach Trail.
Peninsula seafood spots — about 10 minutes. Casual, on the water, sandy feet fine.
Fort Morgan Historic Site — about 15 minutes. A Civil War-era fort at the tip of the peninsula, with the Dauphin Island ferry alongside.
Downtown Gulf Shores and The Hangout — about 20 minutes. Restaurants, live music, and the public beach when you want a crowd.
Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo and Waterville USA — about 25 minutes. The rainy-day answers.
Gulf State Park and the Fishing Pier — about 30 minutes. One of the longest piers on the Gulf, plus 28 miles of trails.
The tradeoff: a few extra minutes of driving for a beach that isn't shoulder to shoulder.
Guest Access
The entire house is yours: both floors, both balconies, the pool, the grilling area, the driveway. Nothing is shared or locked off.
One thing to know before you book — this is a two-story home with no elevator. Four of the five bedrooms are on the first floor, and the primary suite, kitchen, living, and dining are upstairs, so stairs are part of daily life here. If anyone in your group has trouble with them, message us first.
Parking:
Parking is free, on-site, and genuinely generous — room for at least six vehicles, unusual for a beach house this close to the water. A group arriving in three separate SUVs is a non-event.
House Rules:
Check-in 4:00 PM, check-out 10:00 AM. Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM — sound carries here, and our neighbors are why this end of the peninsula stays peaceful.
A rental agreement is sent via OwnerRez after booking — please sign it promptly. No smoking inside ($500 fee plus damages). No third-party bookings. Two security cameras in the carport (street and rear-facing) for security only — do not tamper or obstruct. Pool heater/chiller performance may vary with outdoor temperatures. Travel insurance strongly recommended; cancellation policy is firm except for mandatory evacuation.
Ten guests maximum. No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property. No parties or events of any kind — this is a family home on a residential street, and we do enforce this one.
No pets, with apologies to the very good dogs.
Around the pool: no glass, no diving, and children need an adult with them at all times.
Otherwise, treat it like your own. Message us anytime — we'd rather hear about something small now than read about it later.
