Gulf Shores vacation rentals

Where do I begin, such a friendly host and always responded promptly. Their place was absolutely darling! It was so clean and provided everything we needed. The welcome gift was thoughtful (and quite yummy). I loved their binder with all the info we needed and a history of some of the decor, made me feel like I got to know them better. The most comfy bed, haven't slept that well in a long time. We have been to this location 4x times and we keep coming back because we love it here so much. Great location to everything, more in a private area so less traffic and a beautiful view! All I know is we're already thinking about our next visit and will definitely be using Jeri and Perry's condo again. If it wasn't so far (we live in Illinois) I would come here more often. Thank you for being such great hosts. You have a cozy and comfortable unit that made us feel welcome.

This nearly new property is conveniently located in a newish, quiet, and very well kept neighborhood between Orange Beach proper and Gulf Shores. Very easy and quick car access to shopping, activities, and restaurants, though not a lot of that is in easy walking distance if that’s desired. Our weeklong visit saw very light crowds on the beach in peak summer season and beautiful waters and white sands. The walk to the beach was painless… 5-7 minutes of a mostly paved route helped by a stop lighted crosswalk to more safely and easily cross a single, sometimes busy road. We had a family of 9 with 5 adults and 4 children. The incredibly open floor plan across the kitchen, dining, and living area led to a roominess that was much better than expected even with a large group. The owners have consciously and successfully worked for more of a resort feel than just a beach house, adding several full sized electronic games, a foosball table, a ping pong table, beach equipment (including two wagons for hauling it to the beach), etc. We had brought our own canopy for shade - one thing (nor umbrellas) that they didn’t have already. Our kids had a blast, whether at the beach or the house. The garage was so convenient for drying stuff out of the way. The view from the back deck wasn’t like a much higher priced beachfront house, but the white sands, hammocks, and cornhole games helped to keep the beachfront feel. Overall we would definitely stay here again!

After a one and a half day drive from North Carolina, arriving at this home was a pure joy. The home decor is exactly what you'd expect for a high-end beach house. The living room couches and pillows were super comfortable. The bedroom mattresses and pillows were some of the best we've ever experienced while travelling. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could ever desire. We celebrated Thanksgiving with our family and had everything we needed and more. Lot's of games for the kids! Everything was clean and in good operating condition. The home's multi-level is perfect for kids getting away from parents and of course vice-versa :-) The location is in the heart of the Gulf Shores beach and only 7 minutes from the local Walmart for making grocery runs. We hated leaving, but all nice things must come to an end, but one thing's for sure, we had a wonderful vacation at Dining Dunes. I'd highly recommend a visit, Chris was an absolutely phenomenal Host! We'll revist soon!

5-min walk to beach, 5 min drive from great seafood market, 5-10 min from great restaurants, 10-15 min from grocery store, ocean view from porch, enough seating for everyone, beautiful and spotless house! Our family of 4 plus my sister and parents had the most wonderful time at Deanna's place. The beach across the street was so gorgeous and quiet that we never made it to Orange Beach. Carport was perfect for pickleball (we brought our gear and net). Deanna's local recommendations were spot-on. Had DeSoto's for lunch (casual seafood place) and loved the trigger fish. Finished with ice cream from shop next door (Cherry on Top). Excellent extra malty strawberry malts. Had fresh shrimp, Conecuh sausage, and housemade smoked tuna dip from S&S Seafood (super friendly AND they cook to order!) with veggies we grilled from Rouses Market. The Gulf in Orange Beach is great lunch/dinner spot with tables on the sand. Get the flounder sandwich and blackberry jalapeno margarita. Will return!!!

We stayed at this rental for a baseball tournament - it was the perfect set up for several families to stay together on a shared property yet have our own houses. The amenities with the paddle boards and kayaks to use on the bayside, the grass backyard for kids to play on, and the beach access across the street made the rental the ideal spot for this trip. Also, huge bonus to have access to a beach cart, chairs and umbrellas. We enjoyed being a little further away from the hustle and bustle of the town which also meant the beaches were not crowded. It was easy to instacart grocery delivery and Door Dash food on the nights when we didnt want to go anywhere. The owners were very responsive as well!

I had a few days to get away, and wanted to make it down to the gulf for some fishing and relaxation before the end of the year. The cottages Phil & Toni had advertised seemed perfect, but I wasn't certain. I decided to take a chance, and I AM GLAD I DID! They are perfectly located within a short walk or ride (don't hesitate to bring a bicycle) from a branch of Bon Secour Bay, and around 6 short miles from Foley with all it has to offer. I was able to kayak, fish, sight-see, shop, and visit the beaches in the four short days I stayed. The cottage itself was perfect as well. I am very particular about where I stay, and I was completely at ease from the moment I walked in the door. It was clean, modern, bigger than expected, and had all the amenities that I needed for my stay. It is well lit, and, as for safety concerns, there were none. The cottages are secure, and the whole area is very laid back - I never felt threatened at any time. I never worried about my kayak or fishing gear, and, more than once, found myself going back and locking the door because of feeling so at ease, I was forgetting to do so. As for my hosts, Phil and Toni, they were great as well. They went above and beyond what was expected to accommodate me and my activities. They were extremely friendly, outgoing, knowledgeable, and the perfect examples of southern hospitality. My whole stay was fantastic, and I hated that I had to go. I plan to come back again (hopefully, sooner than later), and I recommend that anyone heading to the area and wanting a very nice, conviently located, well maintained property at a more than reasonable price, to give them a shout. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Sandpiper Sunset!! It was nice to have the pier/dock at the lagoon right out the back door and then a short walk across the road and down a couple of houses to the gulf and a beautiful and clean beach. For Memorial Day weekend, we almost had the beach to ourselves since we were further away from Gulf Shores proper. Lots of sand toys for the grandkids, and the wagon was helpful for getting things to the beach. We took my mom (88 years old) and she loved it!! And it turned out that one of the bathrooms has been redone to have a walk-in shower. We'd brought a tub/shower bench and grab bar with suction cups but only needed to put the grab bar up since she could walk into the shower. When our grandson was almost home he told our daughter, "Mom, I want to go back to Gulf Shores!" We had a great time making fun memories! And my mom was so excited to be able to sit on the porches and enjoy the views!! Thank you for being a gracious host!!

We normally go out west or something and take my mother in law or something to help us with the kiddos but this year it was just us so we selected your property for very specific reasons (private pool, home layout, distance to beach, etc) to make things easier for us and are so glad we chose to stay here! In addition to the beach access referenced in the listing there is another public access in the opposite direction with a ton more parking AND there are no stairs to deal with. The parking spots referenced by owner are approximately .1 miles down the street and this additional one was around .25 miles. If hoping to walk the one referenced in listing is a super easy walk, even with kids (ours are 2, 4, 6, & 8). Everything about the place was exactly as we had hoped and it fit our family perfect. Pool was great. Amenities were great! Very clean and comfortable bedding. Neighbors were friendly. All tv's are smart tv's and have access to live tv in addition to kids stuff like netflix, etc. Owners provided a water hose for cleaning off beach stuff and the furnished bikes and cornhole were a nice touch as well! We really appreciated Jessica and Jim's quick responses when we had quick questions to ask them (like about spare keys and pool floaties) and we have already discussed staying here again next year! To sum it all up, you won't be disappointed with your choice to stay here, after driving around looking at homes we sincerely feel that it was one of the best properties down there for a family our size (2 adults, 4 kids)!
