About me

My husband, myself and my son live in northwest New Jersey. We have been vacationing in Pawleys Island for over 20 years. In 2010 we decided to buy a vacation home. We chose True Blue because we had vacationed in many condos in the area and we felt True Blue was the most well cared for community, had a great golf course and was only a 5 minute drive to the beach.

Once we decided to rent our condo when we were not there, we found every time we wanted to go it was rented so we decided to buy a 2nd unit so we could rent both and still be able to set aside time for ourselves. The thing we love most about Pawleys Island is that it is very laid back, relaxed and just far enough away from all the hustle and bustle of Myrtle beach. Yet, we can enjoy the entertainment and activities in Myrtle Beach with just a 20 mile drive north when we are in the mood to enjoy a night out at Broadway at the Beach for a show, dinner or amusements.

Pawleys Island has lots of restaurants and shopping. The Hammock shops are a collection of shops and restaurants. There are more than 20 unique shops offering everything from clothing to shoes to jewelry to handcrafted collectables made by local artists. During the summer months, there is often entertainment under the gazebo on weekend evenings. Murrells Inlet (The Seafood Capital of SC) is just a 10 minute drive and the Marsh Walk in Murrells Inlet is a favorite of our family for waterfront dining with stunning views of the marsh.
