I have lived in the Lake Lure/Mill Spring area for more than 20 years, and now call the mountains my home. A Touch of Luxury Cabin and A Touch of Whimsy are both the perfect home base for travelers wanting to explore all our area has to offer:

It depends how badly you want to encourage travelers to book direct on Houfy. Keep in mind, one of the major reasons travelers are drawn to direct book is to bypass the high rates and fees charged on the other platforms.

Template to ask credit card holder for ID and signature on the rental agreement
You can use this template if you still ask guests to print, scan, and email back your rental agreement. "Hi Brandon, Attached is the rental agreement. Double check rates, dates, and check-in/check-out times, etc. I am sending the arrival information from Houfy shortly. The agreement should only be completed by credit card holder.

Operating Living Room TV Remote
Remote is in the bowl on the coffee table. Be sure everyone reads through this before turning on the tv. 1. Always aim the remote at the sensor to the left of the bookshelf when doing any function, including turning tv on and off. Just stand near the coffee table and it will work fine. No need to stand very close to the sensor.
