Welcome to Your Nest Adventure!

This elegant cottage has a history of nurturing. The large brick oven in your courtyard was used to feed soldiers returning from WWII.

These days, you can soak up some sun in that courtyard, whip up a great meal in your well stocked kitchen, or snooze in plush comfort.

You're approx. 20 mins away from everything San Diego has to offer; beaches, hiking, culture, amazing food, and world class Ed/Med facilities. Charming downtown La Mesa is even closer!

Guest Access:

You are free to enjoy the entire space beyond the red gate.

The Property:

This is the private back unit in a small triplex community.

You have two dedicated, off street parking spaces and your own private entrance.

All three units in the triplex are free standing, with no shared walls and no shared spaces. Having said that, you will need to pass alongside the main unit's kitchen window and outdoor living space to access your own courtyard and entrance.

In order to ensure all guests remain comfy, please note:

No smoking within your bungalow or anywhere on premises.

The plumbing is antique. Please only flush TP. Even 'flushable' wipes need to go in the bin or we all suffer the consequences.

Super loud parties that go late into the night are a no-no, but please feel free to share the space with trusted folks who will treat the bungalow and courtyard as their own. Be respectful of your neighbors, but enjoy yourselves!

The grey and blue garbage cans go on the street Monday for a Tuesday pickup.

SAND...

Yes, the beach is incredible but sand is a nightmare! For beach days, please only use the beach towels available in your linen closet. Shake those suckers out before bringing them in or tossing them in the laundry.
Before re-entering, please use the hose in your courtyard to rinse off as best you can.
Some residual sand is totally understandable but please do your best to remove as much as possible.

I am working hard to improve the curb appeal, especially with regard to the yard and parking areas.
Please don't be put off by the shabby, lived in look of the front yard or the on-line images.
Clean up is in progress!

The neighborhood is a mix of older single family homes, low-rise apartment buildings, and a smattering of commercial properties. With all of this, you will still be greeted by folks out for an evening walk with their dogs and strollers.

Please, always feel free to reach out for any reason. My goal is that you to enjoy your stay, however long it is.
