San Diego vacation rentals

We had an absolutely amazing time at this Carlsbad beach house. The location can't be beat...just a short walk down to Tamarack Beach. The house itself was even better than we imagined! Three large bedrooms and three bathrooms gave our family plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we have ever seen...anything you could possibly need! The backyard was a relaxing oasis with tons of fun extras...hammocks, hot tub, multiple seating areas and such beautiful greenery! The house was equipped with more than enough beach gear including towels, chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, boogey boards, etc. Communication was outstanding. Our host messaged back right away whenever we had a question. Would definitely recommend! We will be back!

My family (2 adults, 4 teens) enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. The house was VERY clean and well-stocked with all the essentials. Lots of space for all of us to hang out together or separately, without ever feeling like we were on top of one another. There are tv’s in the living area and the front bedroom, but none in the primary bedroom or the bunk room (which was a little disappointing given we asked ahead and were told there were TVs in every room). Terramar Beach is right up the road, accessible by staircase, but unfortunately was covered with seaweed the entire week- so we opted to drive to a couple of nearby beaches just north and it worked out well. Overall, a great house with fantastic indoor/outdoor space to relax.

Mona and Randy's home is such a beautiful, roomy, yet cozy place. The neighborhood is delightful charming and quiet. As you drive up this 2.6 Mile boulevard then down the hill to the last house of the longest cultisack I've ever been on, you have arrived! WOW what a view overlooking the canyon from the cute front yard, inside and the wrap around deck! We sat in the living room and out side on the deck every night watching the sun set. I had my morning coffee and read my book in the cute little over look with the over sized chairs. This was such a great stay for our family – the upstairs living room, dining area, office , kitchen and half bath all supplied with eveything we needed including a very strong wifi signal. The downstairs bedrooms had the most comfortable beds with very well insulated walls so no disruptions to anyone sleeping. I can't say enough great things about this well kept amazing home and our stay. We would love to come back!! Thank you again Mona and Randy for letting us stay in your fabulous home. The rental worked out well for us. The house felt modern, clean, bed was comfortable, stocked with what we needed. We have family in the area so the location worked well for us. It was an easy walk to a beach and a short drive to restaurants. We were a bit bummed that the fire pit could not be used but the master shower was wonderful and will be missed.

This was the perfect spot to stay! It was very walkable, which was perfect for us. It was only a 10 minute walk to downtown Carlsbad and a 5 minute walk to the beach. The inside of the home was very clean and inviting. The beds were very comfy, the kitchen and all the cooking utensils, and the bathrooms were big and very nicely remodeled. We really loved the amount of people Jill’s place could accommodate as we had a few family game and movie nights at the end of each day and everyone fit comfortably in the living room and at the dining table! Not to mention the price was perfect for our budget, and didn’t break the bank like the other Airbnb’s in the area. We will definitely be going back to this spot next time we visit Carlsbad! It was a great family trip!

Family of three had a cozy stay here. Everything was exactly as described. Very clean upon arrival. Home is definitely a smaller, well kept, older home, but it was more than big enough for us as we were out exploring the city during the day. The neighborhood felt safe and within walking distance to lots of places. Backyard was a nice little hangout spot and we lucked out with beautiful weather to enjoy it. We would definitely stay here again. Communication was great, super responsive! Thanks for a nice stay!Side note, this location is near the airport so planes are frequently flying overhead.

I rented this home for six nights for our son's wedding in San Diego area. It was a perfect gathering place for our families who traveled from Louisiana & Texas. The entire place is tastefully decorated and comfortable to relax and entertain. We were seven adults staying on the property so we used all four bedrooms, each with their own full bath. The bedrooms are in a separate wing from the living areas so late nighters and early risers caused no disruptions for the others. Everything was immaculately clean and stocked with quality linens, bath towels and beach towels. The kitchen is more than functional with plenty of pots, pans, beautiful serving dishes, utensils, plates, bowls and glassware. I had purchased disposable items for when we had large family meals & gatherings but never needed them. The view is spectacular! The location is perfect with Coast Walk right in front of the house that takes you to the Village and grocery stores are a short drive. The pool & hot tub are well maintained, relaxing and a very decent size. We also used the large barbeque grill to cook steaks for 12 one evening. The two living rooms are large with comfortable furniture & large televisions. The only time we had them on was to watch football games. Otherwise, the setting is too beautiful to waste time watching TV!! It is an expensive, high-end rental that lives up to all that it promises in the listing. It is perfect for a large family or multiple couples, especially for a special occasion. Thank you for the perfect home away from home for our wedding celebration!

My stay here was the best Air BnB has to offer. 5 stars is not enough to rate this home! I did not want to leave. Almost everything was perfect. If there was any issues, they were solved in minutes (or at least in an hour). Shane made me feel right at home. I have never met a nicer person. I am going to say it...I luv u! ...lol. Everything you need is provided. From snacks and coffee to carpet cleaning, everything was perfect! I could go on and on about my stay here, but that would take a whole day to type it out! If you are looking to stay ANYWHERE in San Diego county, STAY HERE! Wherever you need to be is just a short drive away. Freeway access to just about any direction you need to go. The trolley station is close by and can take you in every direction if you don't want to drive. Ask Shane about her fur babies! Miniature HUGGING donkeys and fainting goats!
