Sweet Coralina is a 2 Bedroom / 2 Bath cottage style house with 5 beds as follows:

ISLAND ACTIVITIES

○ BEACH IT

The access path across from house is mid-block access which is a much lesser used

access than others with parking. With beach is so close, you can set up & go back to

your house as needed. Low tide provides the most sand for beach go-ers. Watch the tide

chart and plan your beach trips around high tides. Beach equipment is included with your

rental! Many shark teeth wash up on Folly's shore, so add that to your agenda!

○ WALK EVERYWHERE

The cottage location means not needing to use your car and deal with

parking lots, parking fees (and contacts) and parking restrictions due to Covid

(crowd control).

○ RESTAURANT OUTDOOR DRINKS/DINING & TAKE-OUT

All island restaurants are a level 2–7-minute walk away and many offer outdoor dining

options in addition to carry out. The city has implemented a temporary ordinance to

allow restaurants to carry seating into their respective parking spaces (with

barricades) to create additional opportunities for social distancing.

Bringing a boat? The driveway is EASILY large enough to park a truck with trailer!

Only 2 minutes to beautiful beach sunrises, or drive or bike to Morris Island

Lighthouse Trail on the island's east coast for the best sunrises and views of the

lighthouse.

Yes, sunsets from an East Coast shore! The Folly boat ramp is within walking distance,

offering a variety of sunsets with the Ashley River as the backdrop. Drive or bike to

the Folly Beach County Park on the west side of the island for breathtaking

beach/marsh sunsets depending on the time of year. With over 2,500 feet of ocean

frontage and 200 feet of River Frontage and a large parking lot, there is plenty of

room to spread about.

○ BERT'S 24-HOUR MARKET

At only 200 steps away, Bert's provides the basics, beers, snacks, beverages, frozen

foods, fresh good, meats, plus specialty gluten free, vegan, and organic options.

Other ready-to-eat options cure any craving with made-to-order wraps and

sandwiches, ice cream, home-made pastries and cakes, and daily sushi deliveries.

○PARKS/PLAYGROUNDS

WAVE WATCH and PIRATE’S COVE PLAYGROUND (w/Tennis & Basketball Courts)

are within walking distance to the East and to the West.

THE SPACE

A fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher provides all the essentials to prepare your meals with dining for 6 in sunroom and a breakfast nook for 2 at the kitchen island.

Sweet Coralina is roomy enough to sleep 6 or 7 with arrangements as follows:

Relax, dine, read, etc. in the roomy sunroom.

The living room has a 43-inch Smart TV/ Use your own account information to access Netflix, Hulu, Sling, Prime Video and more.

Beach amenities included: chairs, chair cart, sand toys, boogie boards, umbrellas.

Other amenities: various sporting equipment & toys.

Bed and bath linens are included as well.

What can be a typical day at Sweet Coralina?

In the morning, set your alarm for sunrise & take the 2-minute stroll to the beach for some of the most amazing sunrises you will ever see! Back at home, make yourself some hot or iced coffee and with a full-service kitchen, make your breakfast as simple or elaborate as you choose.

Heading to the beach? Grab the supplied beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie board, sand toys, and take the path to beautiful Folly Beach. When you return home and use the Solar-powered outdoor shower with foot rinse to free yourself from the sand and the salt. If you are a sunset freak (like me), check the sunset time and decide which Folly location will be providing your sunset of choice.

If you are enjoying a relaxing evening at home, dinner can made on the charcoal grill provided and can be served on the enclosed porch with seating for six. Get the blender out for a pitcher of margaritas, dim the lights, and hang out on the comfortable wicker chairs or grab one of the board games for a family fun night. If you decide on carry-out, all Folly restaurants are walk-able. If a sweet tooth hits, you are only 200 steps from fresh-baked goods and ice cream at Bert's 24 hour market!

If going out is on your agenda, you are only 5 minutes from Center street - the heart of the action on Folly Island. With options such as: steak, seafood, sandwiches, Italian, Mexican, Hawaiian, or Irish cuisine, Folly offers enough variety to satisfy any palette!

As you return the few blocks home, head to the sunroom, dim the lights, and in the still of the night, open the windows and listen to the waves.

Folly boasts a variety of other activities such as: fishing, sailing, and dolphin watching charters, surfboard, kayak, golf cart, and paddle board rentals, beach combing, shelling, and shark-tooth hunting.
