Isle of Palms vacation rentals

We had a great stay in this clean, comfortable end unit with lots of windows and natural light. The blackout curtains were perfect to keep the the sun out when we wanted to sleep a little later. The kitchen had a great variety of utensils which made preparing our meals easy. We loved dinner on the screened in porch and there were plenty of places to sit for a quick breakfast at the breakfast bar or leisurely game nights for our family at the table. It was so much fun to get to the beach in the golf cart! We brought a couple of bikes with us so we could each come and go as we pleased using the bikes and golf cart. The location of the home is perfect, right by the tennis courts and bike rental. We loved riding bikes on the shady path and our flat bike tire was quickly fixed by the bike rental shop. The house easily accommodated our family and we were happy to have the 3 separate bathrooms. We would definitely return!

Pros: Location, location, location! Easy walk to the beach, easy walk to restaurants (every meal we had on IOP was excellent), easy walk to shopping (though there's not many shopping options). Property Management. If I had a question I texted the property manager and they responded quickly. An issue with the elevator was fixed promptly. Most notably, our check-out date coincided with a horrible storm, but they allowed us to stay a little later so the worst of the storm could pass before we hit the road to head home. Space It's a spacious unit, perfect for two people (and two dogs!). Ocean view It isn't oceanfront, but there is still a nice view of the beach and ocean from the deck. Cons: This is an industry thing, but I really dislike the new option to check in early or check out late - for an extra fee. Misc: As other have noted, the deck over looks a beach bar. If you are someone who needs complete silence, I'd suggest looking at one of the other units in the building. I didn't notice any noise when the doors were closed and the TV was on, but if the TV was off I could hear the music playing - not loud, but enough that I could recognize the song. It wasn't bothersome to me, but I imagine someone who is noise-sensitive could be bothered by it. All in all, I would definitely stay here again, and hope to plan another trip soon.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dunescape 301. We were 3 couples plus a few nights with one more on the couch. The unit was spacious and comfortable. The owners were super responsive to any questions we had (smoke detector was chirping and we texted and found batteries in the place within 5 minutes). You are right on the busiest part of the beach but even on July 4th week, it wasn't too bad for finding a spot. Walking distance to bars and restaurants. We like to play in waves and the ocean was just the right amount of rough to enjoy but not for injury. Know that the unit overlooks the Windjammer music venue and it is VERY LOUD. We loved it because we got to watch for free on our own deck and were out most nights with family that had a big house down the road. But this would not be for a family with small children that can't sleep through it (ours probably would have). Music rocks the place on those nights. But the peel and eat shrimp was pretty tasty. Highly recommend and would def return.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful beach house! Even though the weather didn’t cooperate during our trip, this home gave our family so many incredible spaces to gather, relax, and make memories together. From hours of games around the dining room table, to hanging out with the uncles on the front porch drinking beers and laughing, to cozy evenings wrapped in blankets on the back porch listening to the rain — every space felt warm, comfortable, and inviting. One of our favorite memories was the late-night cousin hot tub sessions in the rain! The covered patio area under the back porch also turned into the perfect entertainment spot for flip cup tournaments and family fun. The location across from the beach is unbeatable, and the house itself is absolutely stunning. Every bedroom and bathroom is beautifully designed and feels luxurious and comfortable at the same time. You can tell so much thought went into every detail of this home. You truly won’t be disappointed staying here. It was the perfect house for family time, rain or shine, and we can’t wait to come back!
