Luna Lair, so named after Luna moths that transcends their earthy form to fly into the mountain moonlight, is such a unique place in the broad Asheville area. It has long-range, unobstructed mountain views. While the fall foliage is no doubt spectacular, the views from the deck are always stunning in every season, even in winter! Start your day enjoying coffee on the deck with the beautiful views and enjoy everything that Asheville has to offer!

Sitting on an acre lot, this place is very private and secluded; yet it is only 20 miles away from Asheville with straightforward driving. It is also close to so many outdoor activities, including hiking, zip-line, kayaking, white water rafting, tubing, mountain biking, skiing, snow tubing, and so much more. With all the amenities the house provides (Hot Tub, fiber-optic Internet, subscriptions of Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+ INCLUDED!, fireplace, and sauna!), this is Asheville getaway at its best!

Luna Lair is our family vacation home. We love both the house and the broad Asheville area so much, and can’t wait to share our experiences with you!

- Trash Cans: Located next to the front porch

- Modern power stations with USB outlets in each bedroom to stay charged + fully connected.

OTHER THINGS:

- Moths and other wildlife are very common in this area. While we hire pest control to come over quarterly to spray both the inside and the outside, nothing can be done with the moths. Please keep the door and windows closed so they will not come inside. And there will be no refund if you encounter mother nature's business during your stay.

- There are bears in the area; please keep the shed door with trash cans closed and LOCKED at all times!

- We are using microfiber lines. You are also welcome to bring your own cotton lines.

- We have to remove the fire pit from the deck due to insurance request, the indoor fireplaces are functional.

WEATHER CONDITIONS

Please note that between December and April there may be inclement weather. The last 500 feet of the road is on the cold and shady side of the mountain and is slow to thaw. Please plan accordingly by preparing food supplies (and tire chains if not driving a 4-wheel drive car).

We will do our best to provide a great experience. But no refund will be made due to power outages or malfunctions with TVs, internet service, heater, water heater, or other equipment and appliances, or for the sighting of insects or other animals, etc the things out of our control. We do not refund due to weather or road conditions or other acts of nature.
