A rare find in central Lisbon: a private garden and pool, wrapped around a stylish townhouse in Alvalade — one of the city's quietest, most residential neighbourhoods. Laurentina suits families and small groups who want space and privacy over a standard apartment stay, minutes from the airport, metro, and city centre. Self check-in means your own arrival time, no fixed handover. Three bedrooms, vintage-chic interiors, and a garden built for slow mornings and long evenings. Book alongside Clementina next door for larger groups.

Guest Access
Free access to the whole house, pool, and garden throughout your stay.
Interaction with Guests
Our brand rests on one principle above all: independence, not absence. The smart lock removes the friction of a fixed handover — it doesn't remove the host. We're currently based between Copenhagen and Leicester, hosting remotely by design, and reachable 24/7 through the Airbnb app, chat, or phone, usually within the hour. We provide the Alvalade Guidebook with local recommendations, and can connect you with trusted local service providers if you need anything extra. We also have friends nearby who can step in on the ground if anything needs a physical presence.
Other Details to Note
The home is set up for a maximum of six registered guests, to keep things comfortable and peaceful for everyone nearby. No parties or events. For larger groups, Casa da Clementina next door can be booked alongside Laurentina, subject to availability.
Additional Rules
The Obvious
Care for the house and its belongings as your own. Sort garbage into the correct containers (see the door flyer) and place them outside throughout your stay. Avoid food or drinks on the sofa. No smoking indoors or in the garden — please don't litter cigarette butts. No parties or unregistered guests. Please don't feed the street cats. House towels are for house use only — they aren't suitable for the pool, so please bring or buy separate pool towels.
Checking Out
Restore furniture and décor to their original positions. Leave the car gate remote and both keys on the coat rack — a €250 replacement fee applies if they're missing. Make sure bins aren't left full. Glass goes in the container by the Panificadora. Close all windows, shutters, doors, and gates.
Heating
Contact Joana for any adjustment to the capped winter heating temperature — please don't alter the dashboard directly.
Local Laws
As required by Portuguese law, we ask all guests for personal ID data, which is reported to the local authorities.
Car Parking
Always park inside — street parking is reserved for residents with a permit. Return the gate remote to its place to avoid the replacement fee.
Post/Use of Address
This is a short-term rental — please don't use the address for post, correspondence, or official matters. Arrange deliveries through courier during your stay.
Long Stays
For stays of 30 days or more, please monitor electricity use. Consumption above 350 kWh/month is charged in addition to the monthly fee.
Pets
One dog only, subject to house rules (ground floor only, not in bedrooms, not on the sofa) and a pet fee.
Swimming Pool — Important Safety Notice
The pool is used entirely at guests' own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty. Guests are responsible for supervising children and non-swimmers at all times. The owner accepts no responsibility or liability for accidents, injuries, or loss arising from pool use. Bathroom/house towels aren't suitable for the pool — please bring or buy separate towels for pool use.
Garden & Pool Maintenance
Longstanding local partners maintain the pool and garden. We aim to schedule visits when guests are away — for longer stays and warmer months especially, that isn't always possible.
Insects & Wildlife
Lisbon's warm, green pockets come with the occasional mosquito, gnat, or lovebug depending on the season. We run regular pest control but can't promise a guarantee — keeping doors closed and food stored away helps keep it that way.
