About Malas a Montes

Hello, my name is Joana. Am a global citizen - a Portuguese national born in the Netherlands, have lived/studied/worked in more than 10 different countries across three continents. Currently am based in Denmark.

I love Portugal and like simple but beautiful things, clean and organized. Over time have been building my favorite city, beach and country side escapes in Portugal, places to pile our family/friends bags/suitcases. Thus the name Malas a Montes (it means pile of bags) for my small portfolio of Portuguese properties - @malasamontes. When am away I like to share them with you. If you come and stay with us you will find eclectic but well-cared homes that we expect our guests to treat as if it was theirs.
