The Hohnstead is a true glamping retreat designed for guests who want to slow down, reconnect, and experience nature together.

Each guest has their own private cabin, while shared spaces encourage connection. Bathrooms and seasonal solar showers are located outdoors and shared among guests. The solar showers are heated by the sun, meaning the experience depends on weather conditions—part of the adventure of outdoor living.

You'll be sharing this mountain environment with the wildlife that calls Montana home, including deer, elk, birds, and other forest creatures. Natural surroundings also mean occasional bugs and the sounds of nature are part of the experience.

This is not a traditional hotel or luxury resort. There is no room service, no crowded lobby, and no rush. Instead, you'll find quiet mornings, star-filled evenings, fresh mountain air, and the opportunity to reconnect with the people you're traveling with.

Guests have access to the Commons Area Lounge with Wi-Fi, electricity, full kitchen, refrigerator storage, dining and lounging areas, local recommendations, games, and books.

The shared hot tub is available through a simple reservation board.

Explore the property, gather around the propane fire area, hike the trails, or learn a few mountain skills from your hosts.

Pet fee: Dogs stay free for full property buyouts. Maximum two dogs per cabin.

A liability waiver is required for all guests.

Please note: Due to the natural terrain and safety considerations, The Hohnstead is not suitable for children.
