The Blind Cabin - Bonner-West Riverside

The Blind Cabin is a quiet, off-grid retreat for couples and close friends who crave stillness, simplicity, and star-filled nights. Set on over 100 private forested acres—just 15 minutes from KettleHouse Amphitheater and 25 minutes from Missoula—this cozy cabin is designed for slowing down and reconnecting.

With stargazing panels beneath both beds, you and your partner can fall asleep watching the night sky from your pillows. One panel opens for fresh air and forest sounds, but the true luxury here is staying warm, tucked in, and letting the stars come to you.

During your stay, you’ll enjoy access to The Hohnstead’s shared amenities, including hiking trails, our guest-favorite Scavenger Hunt, outdoor games, a romantic hot tub under the stars, seasonal solar showers, and the Commons Area Lounge with a full kitchen and WiFi.

INSIDE THE BLIND CABIN:

• Two single beds (can be pushed together)
• Mountain views and 360° forest surroundings
• Simple kitchenette with camp stove, water, and coffee/tea setup

• Are uncomfortable with bugs, wildlife, or outdoor elements

This isn’t a traditional hotel stay—it’s a slower, simpler experience shaped by sunlight, fresh air, and forest quiet.

A FEW IMPORTANT NOTES:

• Pet-friendly: $50 per pet per stay (2 pets max). We ask that dogs are well-behaved and comfortable around other guests and pets.
• Guests are required to sign a liability waiver upon check-in (available in the Commons Area).
• The enclosed outdoor bathroom is a short, slightly steep 1-minute walk from the cabin.
• Solar showers are weather-dependent and heat naturally with the sun.
