Set on over 100 forested acres, the Stargazer Cabin is all about looking up, tuning out, and letting the natural rhythm of the mountains guide your stay. You’re just 15 minutes from KettleHouse Amphitheater & Brewery and 25 minutes from Missoula, yet surrounded by forest, wildlife, and some of the darkest skies around.
This cabin is ideal for couples, solo travelers, and dog-friendly adventurers who want a magical, off-grid experience rooted in simplicity.

Hey! We're Garrett and Alla and we're excited to host you at the Hohnstead!
When we're not designing the next Scavenger Hunt for our guests, sharing stories by the campfire, or hanging out in the hot tub, Garrett loves to brew beer, play hockey, and lift weights, while Alla loves to do yoga, photograph The Hohnstead and its visitors, and brew Kombucha (flavor of the moment Hibiscus-Lavender). Together we built the Hohnstead from the ground up, creating the jobs and lifestyle we love and we're excited to share with you, helping you to Reconnect to Nature and to each other!
