Oceanside vacation rentals

We had an absolutely amazing time at this Carlsbad beach house. The location can't be beat...just a short walk down to Tamarack Beach. The house itself was even better than we imagined! Three large bedrooms and three bathrooms gave our family plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we have ever seen...anything you could possibly need! The backyard was a relaxing oasis with tons of fun extras...hammocks, hot tub, multiple seating areas and such beautiful greenery! The house was equipped with more than enough beach gear including towels, chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, boogey boards, etc. Communication was outstanding. Our host messaged back right away whenever we had a question. Would definitely recommend! We will be back!

As the General Manager/Director of Sales in the Hotel industry I pride myself on being able to pick a great place to stay. The Tremont Villa blew all my expectations out of the water. It contributed to making our family vacation absolutley unforgettable. •Was the listing description accurate regarding the location, layout, amenities, etc? The home was above and beyone what we expected it to be. The amenities and furnishings were absolutly unimaginable for a vacation rental home. If you think the home listing looks nice you will be blown away when you walk in the doors. We spend hours on end on the roof top deck and around the pool table! •Was the property clean, was it well-maintained, etc? The home looked like a professional housekeeper had gone through before we arrived. Immaculate! It has very up to date and modern furnishings. •Did the owner provide good customer service? I would email Jody with a question and I would have a reply within a couple hours of sending it. We also received a welcome gift when we arrived which was a delightful touch. We also didn't fly out until in the evening and Jody contacted the housekeeper and arranged a late check out for us, which was great. •Would you recommend this property to a friend or relative? I would recommend this property to ANYONE and EVERYONE! •What activities, attractions and restaurants did you like or dislike? We had a rental car but rarely used it because Jody so kindly provides "Beach Cruisers" (bikes; included one tandum) for your stay. The beach is only a couple blocks away so we obviously spent a ton of time there. Miso Harney Sushi was some of the best Sushi I have had in a long time! We also frequented Tremont Bar & Grill and Pier View Coffee. The Sunset Market on Thursday night was one of the highlights of our trip! Go with the Australian Meat Pie for dinner and Red Velvet Cake for dessert!

This property is a great vacation rental. Everything is like new and very nicely appointed. It is in a good location and the views from the roof top are spectacular. The layout is perfect for two families staying together with essentially two master suites (one a true master, the other with a king bed and on suite bathroom). There is a place for the kids to watch TV and another for the adults to hang out and talk. There are TVs in every room with the ability to cast from your own device. It was nice to have a garage for two cars. The kitchen is well stocked with new pans and appliances. It has everything you could want. The beach is just across the road and is rocky (pebbles). If you want a sandy beach there is one up at the pier about a 15/20 minute walk, or use the bikes that are provided. They have plenty of buggy boards and sand toys. The owner was very responsive and caring. Overall, one of our top vacation rentals. Enjoy a glass of wine on the roof with the sunset!

This was the perfect spot to stay! It was very walkable, which was perfect for us. It was only a 10 minute walk to downtown Carlsbad and a 5 minute walk to the beach. The inside of the home was very clean and inviting. The beds were very comfy, the kitchen and all the cooking utensils, and the bathrooms were big and very nicely remodeled. We really loved the amount of people Jill’s place could accommodate as we had a few family game and movie nights at the end of each day and everyone fit comfortably in the living room and at the dining table! Not to mention the price was perfect for our budget, and didn’t break the bank like the other Airbnb’s in the area. We will definitely be going back to this spot next time we visit Carlsbad! It was a great family trip!

I LOVED my second stay at Ashley's listing! It just gets better and better each stay. Ashley is the absolute consummate host and always exceeds my expectations. She's so proactive, responsive, kind, and thoughtful. She leaves a lovely, handwritten note and healthy snacks like fresh date bread and tangerines from my favorite local market. She even made a little video to help me navigate the rear entrance gate. Her home is always ABSOLUTELY SPOTLESS, well maintained, and feels brand new. And it has all the conveniences I need -- like a fully equipped kitchen; a roomy, walk-in shower with glass doors and great water pressure; driveway parking for my car; and a clean laundry room with full sized washer and dryer. It's so quiet and peaceful, yet only a few blocks from the beach and all the action. Great blackout shades, central heating, and a magically soft, yet firmly supportive mattress in the master always ensure a great night's sleep. I wish all my AirBnB stays were this good

They property is lovely. Wonderful kitchen and dining area, super comfortable bedrooms. We couldn’t have imagined a nicer home to stay in. Diana was such a wonderful host, she was so fast at getting back to us with all our questions as we planned for our trip. It’s extremely easy to get to the beach from this rental and other surrounding areas. We had six adults in our group and atwo year old and four month old. The property very kid friendly especially the backyard, which was inviting. We wanted to spend as much time outside as we did inside. I can not say enough wonderful things about staying here, will definitely rebook in the future!

Really loved our stay here. The photos of the backyard don't do it justice - it's truly magical with grape vines overhanging and a fire pit! My friend and I opted to stay in and cook for 2 nights simply to enjoy the space. The house was really quiet and peaceful with a fully equipped kitchen. This was our first time to the area and after exploring, we were glad we stayed here - an easy base to so many places around and also so peaceful. Viktoriya was great. We almost had to cancel due to a family emergency and she was really understanding (luckily we didn't have to). We felt really cared for. I would recommend her place (and any other place she has) to any guest. Thank you for such a special stay. 10 stars!

Wendee’s home in Oceanside was the perfect landing place for our family upon relocation to California. We ended up extending our stay twice because it was perfect and Wendee was such a gracious host. Our concerns when choosing an AirBnB in a new city were.. Safety : the place is located in a lovely HOA cul-de-sac with pretty common areas and great neighbors. We made friends walking the dogs as we took the short walk to a beautiful park just a few hundred yards away. Happy for the kids to play outside in the street in this neighborhood. Parking : we knew this might be tough in CA, and didn’t want street parking but here we had a two car garage and a place to park on the driveway too. Long term stay : we know some rentals are ‘bare bones’ , the landlords put out the minimum of effort and reduce amenities to save money..not so here ! Wendee really has prepared the place so it feels like home..plenty of plates etc, coffee maker, grinder, cook ware galore, BBQ..we really wanted for nothing..it felt like home. Yard : Wendee’s place has a lovely patio with a great breeze looking out across the canyon, we saw loads of awesome wildlife, birds of prey, etc whilst sat on the patio. There’s sun beds, BBQ and outside dining area. In two months we ate inside only two times..the deck is such a lovely shady place! Wendee greeted us upon arrival (as we made our way across the USA from TX she was flexible on our arrival date) and over the next few weeks was a wealth of knowledge on the local area, where to go and what to do. We stay in a lot of AirBnB places..this by far is the highest caliber experience from start to finish..Thank You Wendee !!
